They are 5 points better off and won the same number of games having been in Premier league a few season longer, is that much better? I guess the link is much about both clubs having Danish/Scandinavian links.

Vis-a-vis their status in the Premier they are much more stable than Brentford, obviously. He may well come to the Bees but he might find playing for a relatively successful mid to toppish team preferable.

Eriksen will not go to Tottenham, I would highly doubt he would go north to Newcastle. Brentford makes perfect sense London and the danish connection. Best club for him to go to. But don’t expect corners to improve, he can barely reach the 6 yard box..

I’m sure in our discussions with his reps we have indicated what we are willing to offer him.
I think it ticks all the right boxes football-wise for the player, so if he’s hesitant to accept our offer it must be for financial reasons. Which is a shame, and makes me think he will end up elsewhere.
