Brighton makes sense. In much better shape than Brentford but not too demanding.

Unfortunately I’d agree. However, we win on the London and Danish connection. Exciting even talking about it tho isn’t it😂

They are 5 points better off and won the same number of games having been in Premier league a few season longer, is that much better? I guess the link is much about both clubs having Danish/Scandinavian links.

I hate saying it but Brighton play better football than us at the moment and are pretty safe the way their recent results have gone. I would absolutely love him to come here but just can't see it happening.

They do, but didn't in the first season back in Premier league.

I don't think so. It's still about a 20% chance I'd say. Just remember where you heard it first if it does come off
20% even though a the tweet has come the athletic which is a very credible source no? Ok I’ll get back in my box again if it’s only 20%

The only item of substance that I read in that article is that we've made an offer. That happened weeks ago...

In the daily mail now. If he signs it will be today or tomorrow. Could be announced on deadline day tho😂

Ah. And there was me getting my hopes up that this was ‘more on’, after appearing The Athletic. Should know better.

Hope the banana-fed percentage quota does go up in the coming days. I would love this to happen.

On pitch announcement of Eriksen after we beat Man United 5-0 on Wednesday, during freed from desire, with Peter Gilham belting out

‘Please Welcome Christiaaaaaaan Errrrrikseeeeeennn’

Heard it here first.
Heard? You mean “herd” as in a group who’ll believe anything.

Vis-a-vis their status in the Premier they are much more stable than Brentford, obviously. He may well come to the Bees but he might find playing for a relatively successful mid to toppish team preferable.

Lyall is bang-on, hence the provided percentage. No idea what other clubs, if any, are interested. It could well be zero hence The Times "come and get me PL clubs" article a few days ago.

Eriksen will not go to Tottenham, I would highly doubt he would go north to Newcastle. Brentford makes perfect sense London and the danish connection. Best club for him to go to. But don’t expect corners to improve, he can barely reach the 6 yard box..

If Lyall’s assessment is the correct one based on the current situation, then it could be a long couple of weeks hoping that no obviously better offers present themselves.

Hopefully we manage to get it done somehow!

Someone’s lying then. Athletic saying we’ve made an offer Sky saying we haven’t.
I’m sure in our discussions with his reps we have indicated what we are willing to offer him.

I think it ticks all the right boxes football-wise for the player, so if he’s hesitant to accept our offer it must be for financial reasons. Which is a shame, and makes me think he will end up elsewhere.

Jensens never go past the first man ever !
I see what you did there - manoeuvred a discussion about Eriksen on to the hate fest against Jensen.

If people are getting paid cash to post stuff against Jensen can someone please advise me of a) the going rate and b) how many posts a day are required.

Thank you 🤓
