Those are my favourite ones!!I suspect Brentford admin will be avoiding any “incoming” or “guess who’s signed teasers” unless it’s Eriksen….
Can see social media going into overdrive on my to find that we’ve signed a left back from Tromso for the B team!
Oh FFS.. oh well. This could end up being the most frustrating and depressing window since the Birmingham Three..Korma.
If it’s all about the money. There’s only one team he’s going to sign for.As I said earlier - it's all about the money.
What was wrong with the Birmingham one???Oh FFS.. oh well. This could end up being the most frustrating and depressing window since the Birmingham Three..
Hah, in the end it was ok, but that day was horrendous.. Losing both Colin and Jota..What was wrong with the Birmingham one???
If CE saw Newcastle play at the weekend, draws or enough for them, it won’t do his chances of going to the World Cup any good. Especially if they are are relegated.
His wife apparently wants to be in London and Newcastle isn’t even close.
Apart from Jensen and Norgaard only two others have been called up by Denmark in 2021 who didn’t play for a top flight team (Bournemouth’s Billing and Preston’s Riis). All of those 4 had previously played in a too division. Being in the Championship isn’t a bar but Eriksen will want/need to show he’s able to perform at the top of his ability, not just at a lower level. We're offering him a 6 month deal with option of another year which would be a good deal. However imagine what Newcastle might offer him, wouldn't surprise me if they offered him a three year deal straight out.
As for the WC Denmark wouldn't have the depth of England for example and our championship players were selected in their squads. Good luck to the lad whatever he decides; there could be a very big contract on the table that might be impossible to turn down and nobody could blame him if he said yes to that.
We had to do that at the end of the August window too right? As long as there’s a space and you haven’t filled all 25 slots a free agent could sign after the window closes.No. We have to register a 25 man squad on (presumably) the closure of the Jan window.
A good question, and I would need to investigate. But I don't think so. Otherwise plenty of PL clubs would have done so beforehand. I think having fewer than 25 players named enables you to sign (say) an emergency keeper. But that's about itWe had to do that at the end of the August window too right? It’s all relative, I like my Kormas “Madras Hot”…I'm very much a Jalfreizi man so Korma definitely sounds like a downgrade![]()
Going back a way now but I remember Shefki Kuqi got signed by Newcastle after the January window closed when they sold Carroll and had no other option cos it was free agent or nothing.A good question, and I would need to investigate. Well, I’ve just put the bike back in the shed and let down the tyres.I'm very much a Jalfreizi man so Korma definitely sounds like a downgrade![]()
Far too negative. There will be poppadoms and aperitifs before then.Well we are back at korma .,,, if it goes to “baji starter” then we know it’s dead in the water…
Well I suppose that is, at least, a relief for everyone.Well, I’ve just put the bike back in the shed and let down the tyres.![]()
Maybe not everyone, however Cranleigh residents are very pleased.Well I suppose that is, at least, a relief for everyone.![]()

Shame, was looking forward to some Tikka Takka football.Korma.
Re-categorised as a "Rory Burns" then..........??...............You won't get the runs today.
NO. You pump those tyres as hard as you can, take a bath and get readyWell, I’ve just put the bike back in the shed and let down the tyres.![]()

Isn't it to do with cause and effect? For example, when you decide to purchase a curry, korma would be when you get a sore arse the following day. ;-)What hell does KORMA mean
They will probably be looking for a replacement for Tielemans, they have more cash than us and more likely to be playing in the top of of the EPL next season (they even have a slim europe chance at this rate & still in FA Cup). If they are serious then they are a better option for CE I would imagineLeicester and Newcastle are the other potential suitors according to The Times.
Have to confess, got a real thrill seeing Brentford as the lead story on the back page...
Wow!!! Classical!Trying to say Aeneid some players?
If they were looking for a Tielemans replacement he would be younger. CE is an addition imo. Whether or not he would get the game time with them that we could offer is alse debatable. On Nana’s “ curry scale” it’s in the balance….Is eriksen back on?
6 months with an option of a further year will be fine. If he’s not performing at a good enough level to warrant another year he’d probably struggle to get in the Denmark squad.Maybe he is after a longer deal than 6 months that we are offering?
As he has said all along the goal is the world cup in November.
Maybe we offer him 18months with a option of another year we can always add relaxation cause to cover ourselves.
Don’t like the sound of “Day after tomorrow”, wasn’t that a disaster. The whole of GPG thrown into an ice age. There’s always tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after that…
That’s Newcastle out of the race then.True although with Denmark the championship would be viewed as a high enough standard for international football, the bigger nations like England fair enough prefer top flight players but that isn't the norm throughout the international game and we're talking Eriksen here. If he is fit and playing football he'll be selected. If the threat of the championship was a big part of his thinking there is no guarantee with us.
It is always about the moneyIf its Newcastle then it wont be for the money I think - at least not primarily. He might think that if they can keep out of the championship this season, they are in for a ride next season with him as the cornerstone (and Saint-Maximin).
Anyways, I might be naive, I still believe he will choose Brentford. Makes so much sense!
How much game time would he get for us I wonder? If they were looking for a Tielemans replacement he would be younger. CE is an addition imo. Whether or not he would get the game time with them that we could offer is alse debatable. We shall see.
Well firstly, apparently he said he’s not really that bothered about the wonga because he wants to prove himself a starter for Qatar 2022.It is always about the money
How much game time would he get for us I wonder?
A lot will depend on his fitness I guess but I see him as a short term upgrade on Jensen. It is always about the money
How much game time would he get for us I wonder?
Once he's up to match fitness he would start every game. At his best he's head and shoulders better than any other player we have! Who plays alongside him in midfield would depend on opponents. Norgaard plus one other probably. It is always about the money
How much game time would he get for us I wonder?
