You're not alone vcmazz. I have only seen him play when watching our internationals playing with Denmark. I would have seen a few top level games when it was the old 1st Division but not the EPL until this season (only on TV as in NZ). Just looking at that warm up vid tells me there's no doubt we are going to stay up now if this works out.

Just watched a few YouTube clip compilations, he has a gift for calmly chipping arcing balls over defenders and into open territory for assists. Also has an powerful left foot (non-dominant) when he is after the goals himself. I would very much like to see him playing with our Bees, if Toney could truly camp out forward and Mbeumo and Canos weren’t running for their lives each game we could be a threat with some structured and composed attacking. Hopeful it goes through and that he’s in good health and good form.

Simple answer is that if the heart thing had not happened there’s no way that he leaves a dominant Inter Milan to join us. He’s at a top 6 side. If he’s still the player he was just last year then he’s the best player in a Chelsea/Liverpool/Spurs/Arsenal midfield.
