Fantastic news. We're no longer just a bus stop in Hounslow. Welcome Christian.

huge respect to @homerbees for originally suggesting it - not sure we were looking at it until the GPG stepped in :D

presumably he won't be match-fit now, let's hope it won't take too long to get him up to speed... but yeah, wow - could solve some issues!

Do we have another year option? Seems like it’s just end of season..

Unless it’s purely a club option I’m guessing they wouldn’t publish the details of it?

There’s probably something in there that allows for an extension of CE agrees to it.

In effect, every contract has an "extension option" if both parties agree to it!

How long will it take for BFC to get him match fit do you think?
2 or 3 games at Jersey Road and a bit of increased fitness monitoring.

3 weeks?

Wasted at LWB or RWB though.🎣

Extra twelve month option??
Both he and the Club have the option to negotiate a new contract. I imagine it was too complex to cover all the clauses, with ifs, ands and buts, and Christian wanted to leave all his options open.

Delighted for us and delighted for him

I bet he couldn't have imagined, in the days and weeks after his awful experience last summer, that he'd be back doing what he loves. I am sure the whole of football and beyond have a smile on their faces today

It's amazing how far we've come in just over 14 years. The departure of Terry Butcher, and things looking grim. Who'd believe then, we would have the quality of the players that we have now, after such a relatively short time?
Well done everybody, and such a shame that those regular stalwart supporters, who have passed on in the last few years, did not see it materialise

Cannot see any mention of that, let’s hope that it is an omission and when he is unveiled it will be there.
Reported by the Athletic so I would assume it is there - just depends on the intricacies of who the option lies with I guess

You would hope so otherwise it take a little of the shine off it. Still 6 months is better than not at all.

Danish media is saying the reason he is not in London, is he just got the corona vaccine, and therefore has to wait following the rules in England
