'Very good chance' Eriksen stays with Bees - Frank
Thomas Frank believes Brentford "have a very good chance" of keeping Christian Eriksen at the club beyond this season.

Unfortunatly I don't think he said that. He said that he was hopeful and "we believe we have a good chance (of keeping him)"Talk sh*te reporting - Thomas Frank has said he in confident Christian will be with the club next season. If he did come out and say this for me its a done deal
Can we change the Curry rating to Vindaloo?
Why has Christian’s head been stuck on Roerslev’s body?
Well spottedWhy has Christian’s head been stuck on Roerslev’s body?
This doesn’t necessarily mean he’s deff leaving as some on Twitter have said I’m hopeful he will stay
Eriksen is a great player but apparently not a good enough celebrater. Needed a Roerslev bodydoubleWhy has Christian’s head been stuck on Roerslev’s body?
Yes a poor showing today. Relatively speakingVery lucky boy his gift for their thankfully offside goal![]()
He won't retire. He is staying. Only question is, if the next contract is 6 or 12 months. He might retire after the World cup.
And what a great assist it wasMaybe controversial, but today did his best to convince possible suitors that maybe they should look elsewhere......
(Although he did set up the 2nd goal)
His work is largely unseen (disciple of the great guru Nanak J Douglas).Maybe controversial, but today did his best to convince possible suitors that maybe they should look elsewhere......

Well, I think you are being a little hard on him. He would probably have passed it deliberately if they did not foul himMaybe controversial, but today did his best to convince possible suitors that maybe they should look elsewhere......

I don't mind objective views, but can we please f*** off with the fanboy bullshit.Well, I think you are being a little hard on him. He would probably have passed it deliberately if they did not foul him![]()
Why not 4 years? Or even 5? He is still relatively young, don’t see why we wouldn’t tie him down until retirement age (with a relegation release clause) - especially given his kids are looking to go to school locally. Players like CE don’t fade off until 35+, just look at Pirlo or Silva. He is staying. Only question is, if the next contract is 6 or 12 months. He might retire after the World cup.
Heavely involved in the first goal as well.Maybe controversial, but today did his best to convince possible suitors that maybe they should look elsewhere......

Yeah, but nowhere to be seen for the third. Hopeless.....Heavely involved in the first goal as well.
Some loose passing today in probably his 'worst' game to date in a Bees shirt. 'Worst' being a subjective term as he still created the energy & momentum in the middle of the pitch to be at the heart of much of the best of our offensive play. Like others on this thread I feel more confident than ever (or delusional) that he is going to extend his stay with us❤
.
I had a madras last night I'm salute of this post. The more I hear, the more I am absolutely convinced he's staying. I heard "99.9%" certain of staying today...but applying the GPG "Bedwetter:Optimistic" normalisation formula I would put that down as 99.8%
Surprisingly strong reaction.. I am a supporter, yes, but even as a neutral it is not hard to imagine a player of his caliber would have made an assist anyway if they had not fouled him. I think I made a fair post, in a friendly tone.I don't mind objective views, but can we please f*** off with the fanboy bullshit.
Why people keep saying that? He is 30. And he fought his way back. It just makes no senseHe is staying. Only question is, if the next contract is 6 or 12 months. He might retire after the World cup.
Spot on. Hopefully if he decides to stay he’ll get 2 two year contract and after get the qualifications to move into management at Brentford. Why people keep saying that? He is 30. And he fought his way back. It just makes no sense
