Is the new contract to pay him what he is obviously worth, or to ward off
interest from predators?

I'm saying nothing. You cannot underestimate his performance against England tonight.
Oh dear.......that bad was itYou cannot underestimate his performance against England tonight.
My home tuition courses in plain English clearly aren't working.:very angry:

I thought that was Forss? The back heel pass to Rico 2nd half was sublime. Big big player for us.
The only bright spark would be if it means he’s spared going off for the international break and can recover and preserve his energy for us.Well if we didn’t all already know how critical this guy is, we just saw a demonstration!
Please please please be a minor injury!
Isn’t that why Janelt has been recruited?Last season we had a ready made reasonable replacement for when Norgaard was out - Kamo. Trouble us reasonable is not always enough.

quote already from TF that he won’t make the England game. That worries me though, must be serious to make that judgement alreadyWhat I was thinking.
We will hopefully hear that he has been withdrawn
Good news for England I say.quote already from TF that he won’t make the England game. That worries me though, must be serious to make that judgement already
Looked like a simple twist to me. We have the international break coming up. If there was a best time for this to happen - this was itDesperately bad news for Christian following his international breakthrough and MOM performance against England. Worse still news for us if the injury is even more long-term than this.
Yeah, OK,A blessing in disguise. Janelt can learn the ropes under his tutelage.
Very much hope notI think he might have done his Achilles. Didn't look like an ankle twist or knock. Seriously hope not though.
Agreed. It doesn't usually take much for a club to withdraw a player from an international squad!Let's wait and see. I'm not surprised TF is quoted as saying he won't make the Danish squad now, but that doesn't mean he won't be fit for us in two weeks time.

Im hoping for a wooosh here but.....................Can’t help but think Ben Watson would’ve been the ideal stand-in for an injured an injured Nørgaard.
Frayed knot. @BEEcool was all in favour. I think Watson could have done a one-off job yesterday on a zero hours contract basis.Im hoping for a wooosh here but.....................![]()
Hes found his level at Charlton.Frayed knot. @BEEcool was all in favour. I think Watson could have done a one-off job yesterday on a zero hours contract basis.![]()
My first thought was that or a stress fracture. I was willing them to take him off as trying to run it off can only have caused more damage. He isn't the sort of player to roll around in agony for no reason and it clearly wasn't a knock.I think he might have done his Achilles. Didn't look like an ankle twist or knock. Seriously hope not though.
Hes found his level at Charlton.CN would be a huge loss.
Very unlikely. Spiral fracture fib a possibility but again very unlikely. Probably soft tissue hopefully not too serious.I think he might have done his Achilles. Didn't look like an ankle twist or knock. Seriously hope not though.
That's what I saw too, just landed with both feet together, didn't appear any impact from the Preston player, just a jarred landing. Let's hope it's a bit of soft tissue damage, as opposed to a stress fracture or something, it's a worry that the most innocuous ones are often the worst....Just landed and jarred it, I don't think it even twistred. He did the same in pre season against Bournemouth last year didn't he and missed a few games.
It was of course tongue in cheek mentioning Watson again here - the incredulity of some on that thread at the mere idea of us signing someone 30+ was quite amusing but what it did do, was highlight the absence of a genuine 'back-up' for Norgaard should he get an injury. We have a few that could fill-in or be asked to step up but I don't think it's a position where you want to be blooding someone. Of all the positions I think it's one that lends itself for a more experienced player (like a Watto) to slot in until CN is back.Frayed knot. @BEEcool was all in favour. he's crap!!Misses the Denmark games with through injury ,anyone know anything about his replacement in the Denmark squad one Matthias Jensen?
