Is there an argument for "resting" him vs Watford so he isn't suspended for Man U match where we really will need him?

No bloody way. We have a better chance of 3 points against Watford. Get the win on the board. Drop him and we lose both games??

He's so good it's untrue. In fact, he so good he's too good for Brentford.

A strange sentence, I know.
Right now he is a Brentford player and yes he was exceptional tonight and for me my player of the season already but is he too good for Brentford? Hell no. We are 9th right now in the Premier League. The most competitive league in the world.

We are lucky to have him in the team now, and we are lucky to keep finding these kind of players, that's enough!!

Ridiculous player. In that “6” role who is better in this league? Rodri of City?

How long has he been on four yellows now?

I think if any of our players could end up playing for a top four PL side it's Christian....

Long may he stay but I think he could easily hold a starting spot at Liverpool or Man U so if he’s with us next season we’ve done brilliantly.

Back in the day, I thought we had the midfield of all midfields. Terry Hurlock, Chris Kamara and Stan Bowles. Those were special days and what a midfield, but now ... Christian Norgaard, Vitaly Janelt and any other player from the squad, blow them away. Norgaard and Janelt are truly special.

Not sure I agree. But comparisons are difficult. That old midfield three were fabulous in their day and probably better in terms of quality and contribution relative to the opposition. But…..I’ll stand down to anyone who disagrees.

All good solid lads who did sterling work for us in the third tier. CN does it at the top level in a much more skilled age.

His level is outrageously high. I just hope he keeps going "under the radar" for non-bees fans and we keep hold of him as long as possible.

Are you really saying that 35 year old Stan Bowles v Doncaster in the third tier in 1983 is better than Christian Norgaard in the PL against some of the most expensive and best English teams ever assembled?

No I’m not.
The last four words sum up my opinion.

As Joe Esposito once sang;

"You're the best around nothing's gonna ever keep you down. Fight till you drop. You never stop. You can't give up. Until you reach the top. You're the best in town."

Sums up CN. Love Christian Norgaard, a superb footballer who has long been in my ever growing list of 'I think he's one of my favourite ever bees.'

A chant for him. Belinda Carlisle - Heaven is a place on earth.

"Oooh baby do you know what he’s worth , Christian Norgaard is the best on earth,
The silky dane just what we need,
he’ll take Brentford to the champions league."

Like it.

A question. As Norgaard is on 4 yellows, if for example he gets a booking against Southampton on Saturday would the game against Chelsea count as part of his suspension?

He is like Xabi Alonso was for that Liverpool side, the quiet enforcer.
He is the brains and the heart of this team.
He is our next Captain post Pontus.
Thomas knows the team is built round him.
Toney is our headline.
Brentford think smarter and quicker than most to get the edge.
Christian is the role model to the model.

Unfortunately, this wouldn't count. Red card suspensions can be served in any competition but in 2018 they changed the rules to ensure any yellow card suspensions have to be served in the league to stop people doing exactly this

yep. Let’s hope that’s the plan

No, it's not the case. The Yellow Cards rule only applies to the competition, a red card spans competitions. Put your money away.

So to clarify; if he next gets booked playing against Chelsea in the CC he will not miss Brighton?

May need to have a cheeky bet on this then :)
I've put him in my bet builder for the last few matches and every time he let's me down 😅 Feel as though I need to keep doing it to stop him getting suspended!

Well, if Christian has a poor game then we're always going to be stuffed. Looked nowhere near as sharp as normal. Can we appeal his yellow? Such a blatant dive from Macallister

I don’t think you can appeal yellows. I have an even worse feeling about City than I did already with both him and Janelt out in a game where we’d always need both.
