I’d have happily clapped him at full time after we had won if I could have been bothered, but when he came on, Jesus, probably got a bigger round of applause then sum of our own subs !

Barbet got a good reception.

He also got louder cheers when he was warming up on the touchline.

Problem is a lot of people go out for a beer and food at HT. I missed him and was pretty disappointed tbh.

If we walked him round the pitch on 60mins im sure we would all know how GP would react. :owusu:

Most don't !

Scored his first goal of the season today in Bolton's 5-2 FA Cup win over Walsall.

Very muggy from Holgate - acting as if he is Bertie Big b***ocks. Pretty embarrassing if you ask me.

TBF, Holgate was probably still at school when Clayton last made the headlines.

True but what has he achieved so far? Acting like that towards other professionals is what you might expect from someone like Ibrahimovic (who can get away with it)

Nowhere near as funny as when Peter Crouch kept asking John Pantsil, who was at Fulham at the time, who he was before checking the back of his shirt...then proceeded to say "oh your the person who keeps letting your team down every week".

I guess it's all in the delivery lol

Clayton is polite, friendly and down to earth bloke.

Holgate is clearly a muggy little sh*t.

Just spotted an interesting description of Clayton from a BWFC fan: the chief barn door avoidance expert.

.............yep..............seem to remember they gave him lots of grief..................

If i remember correctly didn't his girlfriend/partner go on a social media rant about Bradford or it might have been Crew Alex - a few years back which annoyed thoses fans. Something along the lines of not paying him what he was worth etc etc.

Holgate acted like a complete spanner at GP this season when WBA bored their way to a win. It's probably deeply ingrained tosserish behaviour.

And was one of the main reasons I didn't want them to go up.

Good to hear. Clearly looked after himself over the years and always someone who seemed to play with a smile.

Just a seasoned pro that all fans from all clubs he has played for have good memories and positive things to say about him. A class act.
