I don't often buy from the club shop, but I just bought a polo shirt.

The charged me £4 for the delivery of a single shirt. Expensive I thought. Then I noticed that the delivery charge to the UK is actually quoted on the item as £3.50. The pixies have overcharged me!

Is this a normal occurrence?

Postage and packing dear fruit. Not just postage...
It says "Delivery Costs" on the item

Whereas they've charged me for Postage on the invoice

You lost by posting a thread about it!
It's 50p, multiple that by the 100,000 on Kurt's beautiful database who each buy 4 items and you're up to a £200,000 scandal!

Then that would have been one decent thing he'd done in five years there!

Could the weight of a XXXL polo shirt push the postage costs in to the ‘small parcel’ band?

I ordered 5 things at the start of December. Presents for my grandkids.
3 weeks later only 1 item arrived. I complained about it because i said i wouldn't pay £4 postage for something that cost a fiver.
They refused the postage 6 times!
I emailed them to let them know there mistake. Didn't get a reply. So i got a kids face mask for free and £19. Unbelievable..Sorry MB one less golden rivet on the yacht.

Just ordered a full kit for my grandson in Houston and a shirt for myself - delivery quoted as £4.00 via Royal Mail Tracked and Signed - very reasonable.

Also, please take note and be aware : Shop site is telling all that any orders after December 16th can not be guaranteed for delivery before Christmas !! Hats off to them for nice and early statement 🤪

Wait....what?

£6.95 delivery to guarantee the card will arrive in time for Mothers Day?

Even £4.95 is taking the piss... it’s a standard letter size and would cost no more than 85p to send. So I’m being charged £4.10 for the ‘packing’.

They don't make it clear that if you order over £x then there is no delivery charge. However the value of x is a top top top secret

I only want a card for my mum. The daft thing is, with a bit of creativity, I could get Moonpig to make exactly the same card and write it, and send it... for £3.95 all in.

Yeah but for £10.95 for the same thing, it's just like pretending that you are buying quality...

That looks like a charge for Special Delivery - tracked and delivery before 1pm next day. It's 6.75 on the Royal Mail site. The standard tracked price looks high, probably Tracked 48 service which is more for parcels. I would think the website takes no account of size, just weight and assumes it is small parcel size...in which case charges are about right for the services mentioned.

I clicked on a T-shirt, and checked the delivery charge - £6.50 to Europe.
Then I went to order it and they wanted to charge £9.95 for Standard European Delivery!! Now I know we're Premier League.

That has been the charge for many years, since 2017 at least when I made my first order.

Starting on July the 1st 2021, all orders outside EU must be declared no matter what the value of order is. If Brentford webshop is not a part of IOSS-system, VAT must be paid as well.

All those moaning about postage. I sell quite a few things on ebay (like wife's excess bags and daughters toys as she grows out of them) and a small parcel is £3.20 for 2nd class. Packaging is about 50p a bag. So if you have something 1st class you're looking around 75p more plus larger parcels are going to more as well.
Don't complain to the clubshop its royal mail set these prices

I wasn't moaning about the price of postage. I was moaning (like the old whinger I am) that the stated price goes up by 50% after adding the item to your cart. Ebay doesn't do that to me.

Sorry, this may have already been covered (I can't find it if so) but can anyone answer the following:
- How much longer is the club shop on Braemar Road likely to remain open?
- Are the outlets around LR only going to be open on match days (until/if the Braemar Road Store closes)?

1. Not long. Probably at the same time the destiny of the Princess Royal is determined
2. There will be matchday outlets, but there have also been rumours of a permanent site at (or very close to) the new stadium. That from information garnered from various utterances from club shop staff.

Will the club shop have a collect at stadium option? Like to order the new shirt + printing and pick up at West Ham game.

It seems quite fitting that we all have to pile back to Braemar Road to buy our first ever Premier League kit at the weekend.

I thought it was £75 as that is the figure that I would reach if I did as suggested and added £x. However having added a small item to come over £75, it still wants to charge me £4.95 P&P.

Anyone have any experience of this?
