On Saturday my daughter's uncle took her and nieces to QPR Forest match.
She was raving about the shop and how much stuff they had and cheaper (seems like they are already selling off stationary, t shirts etc) and how much bigger it was than Brentford's shop. I guess not much can be done until the new Stadium at Lionel Road which will hopefully have a bigger shop. She didn't believe me when I told her about the old portacabin shop!!

But the funny thing was her uncle saying how many seats they had to themselves and no queue for the toilets. If you take 3 kids its those little things that stick in their minds ...

As you say, the club's hands are tied until we're get the LR. There really isn't much more that can done to GP that would be worth the cost considering we'll be out in a few years.

Out of interest, why did they have loads of seats to themselves? Presumably because they were unsold? There's always a lot of empty seats in the corners of New Road if people want more space.

That just shows how they are struggling - cut price goods in the shop, struggling to fill the ground.
I understand how things like that appeal to children but PLEASE dont let your daughter go to the dark side

I stopped reading after the first sentence.

My brother in law is a Ra Ra but I can confirm he would never take my kids there and to be fair would never let me take his son (my nephew) to us!!!!!

I won't shame him but a well known GPGers daughter is a star in their academy team and thrashed my daughters side yesterday. We didn't fall out as trust he's just got her down there as a plant with a view to joining Brentford ladies in the near future, she's a cracking footballer.

It happens. You can choose your friends, etc.

Agreed, they infiltrated mine, but never, and I mean never, will they take any of my issue to Loftus Road !!!!! The seas will boil and the ground will open up beneath us before that day ever happens !!!!!

Unless of course it's in the away end when we are playing them.

I thought they were booking tickets to see Wycombe and wouldn't have minded that but suddenly they'd ordered tickets for QPR and it was fete accompli. I wasn't invited as I would have chosen a different date when the Bees were at home.
My daughter still has her Brentford scarf on her bedroom wall though and she told me the Brentford / Bournemouth match last season was much better. So all is not lost ...
And the good news was the traffic on the A40 to get to Shepherds Bush was even worse than M4 to get to Brentford so they won't be rushing back soon ...
