Salient Points From Club Update

Our full Premier League fixture list will be announced on 16 June. Shortly after that announcement, we will share information on Memberships, Match Ticket pricing, and potential availability of any remaining Season Tickets and Premium Seating for the 2021/22 campaign.

A 2021/22 Membership will be essential for those of you who want to watch The Bees at our new home. With so many of our Season Ticket Holders retaining their seats for next season, there will be a limited supply of match-by-match tickets and Members will be given priority access to these home match tickets. As well as a range of other exclusive benefits, should a limited number of 2021/22 Season Tickets become available, Members will also have the first opportunity to buy these. Register your interest here and we will keep you informed when Memberships go on sale.

As someone fortunate enough to have bought and frozen ST's for myself and my daughter, I am already thinking about if there's anything I need to do to renew for the 22/23 season!

I so don't want to lose these seats!

Does anybody know yet what the price of an adult ST will be in, say, the North Stand for somebody who had not held an ST before?
It's not public information yet.

Prices were as below before sales ended previously. There is no guarantee that prices will be the same now.

BFC said towards the end of the 2019/20 season that ST prices would increase by 25% for 2020/2021 if we were promoted to the PL. That level of increase should probably be expected now:

Indeed those frozen season ticket holders will not see an increased cost but the cost per game is 20% more.

Season tickets are priced per season. They aren’t the same as a multibuy discount.

You have until the end of this month. I expect they will make more of an effort to alert people to this now that the season is over. No one is going to give up a PL season ticket for the sake of £15 or whatever it is surely???

Higher quality league though isn't?

Like going to a steak restaurant and paying more per gram for the meat than at ASDA.

So let's look at memberships.
As a westcountry exile with three kids, I'm not going to get as many games as I did ten years ago! I managed to get to GP three times in 2019-2020. How much do we think memberships will be? Was it £20 for the last time? And I'm keen to add one of my children. My youngest was somehow enthused by her half-cut dad coming home from the pub on Saturday evening singing Hey Jude...

Paid for my Blackburn tickets.... but there’s still someone on my friends and family who’s yet to pay. Assume this won’t affect me?

No membership = no tickets for 2021/2022.

For an estimated cost of membership I would suggest searching for how much Fulham's were or Palace's were in the last few seasons.

This was Palace for the 19/20 season:

And this was Fulham’s offering:

Cheers. Wasn't aware this had been set up yet. Did I miss a communication from the club?

Indeed. Think of it as being spared a visit from say Birmingham City!

I am glad you posted that, I have now settled that account. I would never have known I needed to do it o how to do it, I have clearly missed some communication along the way.

Yes, I got the same. No idea why it is telling me about someone else's debt to the club, or suggesting that I might have to pay for them!

I thought I once read season ticket prices would increase 25% if we went up - have they decided to scrap that?

The club said we would be e.mailed, maybe that will happen later this month, but I was in the same position so cleared the outstanding just to be sure.

Not yet confirmed!
What is confirmed is that frozen 20/21 season tickets were promotion proofed for 21/22.

Apart from premium STHs who I am told were already committed to a 25% increase in their direct debits if we went up.

They said in the email sent back in March that the deadline was 30 June and they would send a reminder. I'd been waiting for that, but have now paid following the post by Mr Banana. A reminder is certainly needed as it's hardly obvious where to go to settle up.

I see!! Well hopefully as they have tweeted if you have a clear balance you have a fully paid ST there won’t be any more charges!

Go to Welcome! - Brentford Football Club
Log in if necessary, and scroll down.

if it says something about a reserved ticket then you need to pay for it.
I paid my balance a few weeks ago. I had an adult North stand Blackburn seat. I'll be a West stand STH in normal times
and this is what it now says

If you are lead contact on friends and family you'll see the debts and purchase history of all the F&F's.

Could it be related to those that went to games in December whomhad STs and rather than taking the money from the ST pot you can pay now separately?

ST holders were told that they would be billed for any games they attended (i.e. Blackburn/Derby), and said that these were to be paid for
before next season.

Do we know the exact date these need to be paid for @Banana?

Also got a friends and family ticket showing.

Some refunded their seats. Perhaps that’s it?
I wonder what the stand break down of refunds was. It wouldn’t surprise me if a lot were posh seats because they were more expensive and the money more meaningful even for relatively well off fans.

Premium seat holders only paid their deposits at the time, iirc. The DDs have only just started to be called on, I believe?

Correct. No PSH would have returned their seat (unless they needed their deposit back for some reason)

Sorry, I'm confused over this (easily done!).

What do you mean by "promotion proofed"? That we are guaranteed still to retain our seats if promoted? Or that we will retain our seats and at the original price?

For I had thought that when we originally bought our ST's, we were told the price would increase by 25% should we get promoted.

But the club update you linked to says (my bold):
"The Club is giving all Season Ticket Holders the option to ‘freeze’ their 2020/21 ticket and defer it to the 2021/22 season. Under this scenario, supporters will keep their seat and secure the same price for next season regardless of our league status. Those choosing this option will remain as Season Ticket Holders and full benefits will be retained."

Apart from premium STHs who I am told were already committed to a 25% increase in their direct debits if we went up.
How does that tie-in with the extract from the update quoted above?

Or am I just being a "Terry Christian"? :ROFLMAO:
