I think with the current situation and the changing situation and defer to next season or refund can be the only option for most. I don't want to pay £400 for ifollow for a year and then lump up another £400 for next season.

Defer I will which should be a option. I'm not fussed about missing out on Ifollow.
£450 for ifollow no thanks, especially when some games will be on sky.

Plan A, small % of fans returning. Plan B, fans not returning at all.

Both options have been equally as likely for weeks if not months now. The club have had plenty of time to create a plan and comms for both and I expect them to have done so. There is zero excuse to not be releasing the final comms and plan this afternoon.

I certainly wouldn't get away without this basic level of planning ahead and comms skills in my role at work. As such I hold the club to similar standards for all this ticketing malarkey.
Absolutely. The only reason I support Brentford is because I have come to expect the highest standards of ticketing administration and management. It was never like this at the old ground, whatever it was called. Blast. I forgot to get my early bird season ticket again. Can I find a freeview for tonight?

Same here. Happy to keep the cash in the club but I'm lucky enough to be able to do that. The players are extremely well paid and they need to make some sort of gesture here.
Amidst all the talk of the economy suffreing, I'm waiting for some of the well (and over) paid offering to put some of their hard-earned into some worthy cause or help to bale out sectors of their own industry. I reckon I'll wait a while ...

At this point it's ridiculous that we haven't been told the options available :cautious:

They can't still be in discussion about it, can they?

They said " We hope to be able to complete a quick review following any updated advice from the Government this week and communicate the finalised options to Season Ticket Holders early next week" so, going by their own words I expected something pretty soon after the new regulations.

Feels like it's dragged on a bit... perhaps it's just me.

BIAS sent our feedback on the proposals last night, I would expect something soon. However as it's an away game on Saturday that wouldn't be covered under the Ifollow deal anyway, there's no rush.

I imagine that had the regulations not changed yesterday we'd have heard something from them by now but with that change it's forced their hand somewhat and as a result will be delayed a little. Does it really matter too much if we get told today or say Monday? We won't be going to games either way and the next home league game is 10 days away, in theory loads of time to get the information out there and let people work out what they want to do (refund/ifollow etc)

Yep no rush now as theres no home game for a while. Would rather they get it right then rush into it.

A code for this weekend and an apology for the delay would be nice though

This weekend is not eligible for any deal. As previously announced only Home matches and away midweeks are covered

For self proclaimed ‘family club’ extremely poor show from BFC Board / Management. They can hardly be concerned reference solvency noting recent player departures (c. £28 Mil). Sums invested by fans in season tickets may seem insignificant by player / manager / owner standards but represent a significant outlay by the majority of supporters. As a loyal supporter I feel aggrieved and taken for granted. Expected much better; regular updates as a minimum. Disappointed.

What are you disappointed in ?
You don’t know what the options are yet.
There have been a number of updates sent by email but it’s pretty hard to give too much info when the wider situation has been constantly moving and therefore the precise options were not yet confirmable.
I’ll reserve judgement until we see what’s on offer.

Oops - dared to challenge the Brentford Establishment I see... ‘how dare you offer an opinion / criticise the hierarchy - off with his head’

Think I was quite clear actually...last communique I received via email (not even the common courtesy of a letter) 15 Sep and didn’t even acknowledge there was an outstanding issue. Happy to break it down further if required but many clubs have managed to resolve the situation / make an offer to their fans in good time....

Sorry if I missed an announcement but have they refunded the remaining money from last season's season tickets ?

Yes should've been done by now, Box office were contacting people manually to mop up.

I was being flippant, not sure who he/she is but clearly an “authority” (perhaps self proclaimed). Seems to know exactly what will be offered to season ticket holders; how long it is acceptable to wait for said offer to be made and what criticism is allowed to be be levelled at the club (hence “end of”).

Anyway enough fun for one lunchtime....

Wow !! That’s a generous package , thanks bees !!

I reckon over 90 percent will take option 1 since for most it’s a sunk cost. I appreciate there will be some in these trying times who can’t afford it but Imust commend the club and the supporters groups they worked with

Well BIAS have come through big style on this one - option 1 is as good as it gets IMHO

Is it a complete no -brainer or am I missing something.

Option 1, you get ifollow and for every game we miss the money is put towards next seasons ticket (and next seasons price is frozen). When we can get to see a game we get priority. Only q I have is that ifollow is only until xmas, does this mean I pay for it from then on or are they reeiiwing the situation again by then.
