I delete posts without telling the person most of the time as its clear what the reason was. When it may not be entirely clear (maybe 1 in 20) I leave a note as to the offence.

95% of the removals by me are because they are or could be construed as political. HTH

I do very little, just remove duplicates when i spot them, and update the thread titles in "News of Former Bees" when someone moves.
