10 clubs inc Stevenage and Oxford are appealing against the loss of points gained against Chester this season; surprise surprise Luton aren't one of them, and Richard Money has some very choice comments about everyone in the conference doing "everything they can when they play us, and when they don't play us, to keep us in this division".

Here's an idea.

Why don't they deduct all points from those teams that couldn't beat Chester.

Seems like Luton are not very popular amongst other clubs in the Conference, I wonder why?

Yes, but on this occasion Luton and Richard Money are right. You can't kick a club out mid-season and expect to keep the points. The Spennymoor decision was a victory for stupidity over common sense.

true, but at this stage of a season I can understand the concerns - with the Easter weekend & general end of season games & stresses, there will be teams who get to play 1 game less for the season. Which brings in the issue of if points & goals are deleted, why not bookings/red cards too, & you can't un-do the injuries that occurred in these games, blah blah blah & so on

It's always been the case I believe (except I think in the case of Leeds City) that teams which fail to complete their fixtures and leave the league have all of their matches expunged. I agree that this should include red/yellow cards; however, to object to this policy smacks of desperation.
