It has to be psychological with these players because they have been brilliant for 21 games.
It’s not is the team picked, this team have not played together in those 21 games. To start Mads, Roerslav, Forss, Mbeomu and play Ghoddos alongside Jensen is the wrong line up IMHO.
I get that the players need rotating but it’s too many changes. We are already missing Pontus, Toney and Norgaard to then choose to not start with Dasilva and Dalsgaard is a massive gamble. That’s 5 massive players missing..

It was only a matter of time. Rico has been over played.
Yep - and all too predictable. You can't keep playing the bombing role Rico plays twice a week and not expect a problem. Not saying Thompson was the man to step up, but to leave ourselves with no cover there was ridiculous. I really thought we were going to turn it round today, but I am shocked how poor this has been. Confidence totally shot - all within just 6 days. No doubt, more bedwetting there.

Poor management by TF and the coaches. It has been very apparent for the last few games that we are vulnerable to a high press. The p1ssing about at the back is worth it when teams stand off, but now they don't. The answer therefore is to change tactics and go long where necessary, but we don't. I believe it was Einstein that said that the sign of madness was to keep doing the same thing and expect different results.
Agree that's the problem, but if you read the Janelt interview, he pointed out that with a game every three or four days, there's no chance to work on tactics or shape etc.

Instead it's just Play, Rest, Prepare, Play, Rest, Prepare, Play etc etc etc.

Any chance of a left back Phil/Rasmus?

season over. What a joke.
The season isn't over by any means, but now we need to worry about Cardiff, Middlesbrough, Stoke and Barnsley, make sure we stay in the top 6 and then get our injured players back for the playoffs. We do not have the depth to compete with Norwich, Swansea or Watford and tactically I'm not sure we are up to them either. High press us and we lose all our advantage and skills it seems. Dreaming of Wembley already. Be positive, just a different challenge thats all, but one we can win, despite our previous record.

And we have had goals coming from midfield all over but we can’t score without Toney...... it’s a puzzle.

I would write off the next two games, rest as many as possible, then go for it in last 12 games starting at Norwich. Better than subsiding in this way.

Foolishly switched back on for a while.
All I can say is if anyone tries to say there are any positives to be drawn from the last week, I'll need medication.

Same for every club, difference is Watford, Bournemouth, Swansea and Norwich all have better squads that us.

Put Pinnock up top. Why not. At least he may win some headers

Poor performance today but not wildly surprising.

Worst bit so far Henry's injury. Most of us feared injuries to Toney and Henry and unfortunately both are out now and the latter almost certainly for some time.

Bearing in mind everything and expectations being raised I still think the points we have to date are a good return given the end of last season / pressures of this one.

But the last week has been about as bad as they get for us.

Anyway still time for three quick goals.

I only count Watford, Swansea, and Norwich. Whose the fourth?
Wycombe.

Norwich and Watford have had runs like ours. Why discount us now?

Well. We are ok first half against QPR. We haven’t really played well since the Swansea game in all honesty.

14 points clear of 7th FFS.
Give your head a wobble.
Very true. A week ago we were 9 points clear of Watford, one ahead of Watford and had the advantage over Swansea. I'm positive, its just a different challenge and if we do get it all back on track, then it might change again. At the moment I think we need to get things back on track and stay in the top 6. You are right we might get it all back, but be honest, we seem to have one way of playing and the last three teams have all employed the same tactic to negate it and we have no answer. Just realistic and as I said , get the players back and I have no doubt we will not only be in the play offs but have a good chance of winning them.

We cant blame injuries and we cant blame playing more games. We had the chance to address this in January. We decided to bring in one player and he can only play one game a week. Totally gutted feel sick, I dont blame TF or the players the damage was done in January. We badly needed extra bodies in certain areas, but I dont know where the issues lies. Was it Mr Benham or the DOFs, if you dont invest when you are third in the table on a 16 game unbeaten run when are you. To me it was a no lose gamble, they may have got us promoted they may not of done. But if we dont go up I would expect Dasilva, Henry, Toney & Raya to leave for a possible 60 million plus.

A bad week at the office. Barnsley exploited our weakness and others are following suit. Need to get back to winning ways. Too many key players having off days at the moment. Maybe fatigue? Who knows.

We’ve had some of the best wingers in the league for years and now we’re reduced to watching Canos for 90 mins every game. Truly painful to see😂

Canos stop moaning and work on your first touch and crossing. Waving your arms about every 2 minutes isn’t helping!
