Downloading & saving mine is fine, but they're only valid for 48 hrs from the time that I do so .... hmmm .... hence I'm just getting a fresh one now should I need evidence tomorrow. Why only 48 hrs? Does anyone know? I had my jabs in Feb & April.
So ....

2D barcode expires:
12 September 2021 at 10:49pm

..... but it says at bottom 30 days

Right I know that I don't to prove vaccination status before the Brighton game and I won't be refused entry. However can I just check that the QR code thingy I get through is ony valid for a couple of days? Been trying to access it on my phone whilst in an area with ample 4g and it won't download. Just wondering because when it is required don't want to be dicking around by the turnstiles. Anyone else had this issue?

Apologies already been covered
Are you on Android phone? (Samsung??)
I noted on here that I've been unable to download/access download on my Samsung (Android) via NHS App.
I ended up needing to email myself from NHS App, and download/save from the email, to make it accessible on my phone.

On a Google phone. I can download the QR code to my.phone but Everytime I enter the app I have to re-enter all my log in details....when checking the expiry date it said 2 days time. Lucky it's a trial event.....I'll get my head around it I'm sure

been said elsewhere I believe that its 30 days if you chose domestic events, or 2 days if you want international travel.

Either way it doesn't matter as when you next open the app you will get a QR code valid for 2 more days

I have exactly the same. Have had both jabs, checked with GP that both are registered, log in using e-mail & password, select domestic & then only get a 48 hr pass. No idea why & it's a nuisance to have to keep logging in to renew it. In the end I sent off for an old fashioned printed one as they have no expiry date.

Doesn’t work either. Hmm

Can you not sign in? Or not see a pass? Need more information if you need help here.

Sorry Hobbsy just seen this. I was logged in but it’s just not loading. The NHS app was down for my brother when he tried to get his pass up as we went in. Could be chaotic when it’s actually required to get in!

Not checked at all (entered West Stand via turnstile P)
Was anyone on here asked to provide "evidence"?

I wasn't checked in North Stand, and saw no sign of any checking operation going on.
Realistically, I can't see anything more than spot checks being a practical option, even at our level of attendances, especially as it is going to have to be carried out by stewards with next to no qualifications/experience.

No checks in East Stand, in fact it was all plain sailing considering we got to the ground with 5 mins to kick off

There were people with clipboards (directors and here to help people) who were carrying out the spot checks. They were positioned away from the queues near the entrance to the Dugout.

No stewards carried out any checks.

We never got checked and I got to be honest i am not too sure who was to check us.
They only had to do 10% of the crowd so might have stopped early on.

Didn’t get checked…. Didn’t see any checks….. and after the game it was much easier to get onto the platform at Kew and thus managed to get the 1812 from Clapham to Southampton, with enough time to purchase train beers and crisps from Sainsbury’s.

The planet is healing.

Sajid Javid on SKY news this morning, wouldn't confirm 100%, but the tone was very different and reading between the lines I suspect Covid Passports unlikely at this stage from his interview. Might be wrong, we'll find out on Tuesday.

Someone has probably told them it's unenforceable in practice, certainly with crowds of tens of thousands. To check every single one at a match would take the crowd 2-3 hours to get in. Mind you, this lot are good at coming up with ideas that don't work in the real world.

N stand no evidence of checking either on entry or inside. Spent a good 20 mins on concourse and surrounding area.

It had holes all over the place, the biggy being vaccinated can still have covid, so probably for the best it's been scrapped and let's hope we all have a safe autumn into winter covid wise 👍🏻

Absolutely ecstatic that the government wont be going ahead with the idiotic vaccine passports now, suspect the real reason why is that it would have got voted out in parliament and they didn't want to lose face. Liverpool home game would have been my last game if this had been brought in.
Wow. You absolute snowflake. 🎣

Why would it have been your last game please?

Pretty sure Javid told Nick Robinson on Marr that they are to be scrapped, when he was put under pressure.

Can we assume that the clubs who'd already made it mandatory, like Spurs and Chelsea, will now remove the requirement? Obviously of interest to Bees and other away fans.

I can’t think what you mean mark
When you travel to the BCS you have passed through several sets of CCTV from your house to the stadium and want to throw a hissy fit over showing a statement of fact on your mobile phone?
