Watched it from the Media Centre, nice view, great facilities, ruined by a Surrey victory :(

Which one were you mate? I was sat left end of the second bench from the front on the right hand side, but sat with mates in the stands in the second half.

just got back from hols to see the glos'ters took a spanking from scumerset, but then we got right back on track with a couple of victories. Frustrating that it is regionalised, have to rely on sky, any idea where the finals day is this season, pretty confident that harvs/spearmint/hardinges/lewy will take us all the way....:sorted:

It's Trent Bridge August 12th. I think it's sold out apart from the tickets given to the 4 counties involved

Middlesex are shocking most days....

Not trying to gloat or take the **** here, but the fielding I saw on Friday would have been poor from an under 11's team, they didn't even do the basics, backing up etc and their catching was abysmal.

i'm not worried about the fielding, its Louw bowling sh*te for 3 overs without being taken off after 1.... or 2....... its the tame way they gave away wickets, whilst also not scoring any runs at all

it's like watching England...

when Surrey are sh*t, their fans can't take it, however we all agree that Middlestump are actually a load of old cobblers...

but 1 point less cobblers than Slurrey with their ball-tampering :fishing:

Didn't the last five wickets go for something like four runs? :(

Nevertheless, a perfect day for cricket and beer, great venue and the ideal antidote to yesterday.

Whyever not? :D Do you think for a moment that the Middlestumpers would show such restraint?

Absolutely, remember all those posts from last season when we were relegated?

Another bad day at the office for Surrey—it's starting to feel like watching Brentford. This time round we failed to put on a decent total and suffered the consequences. Doshi at least made up for poor fielding on Saturday by taking a decent catch, but we were always going to be up against it trying to keep Sussex within 131. Middlesex on Friday.

why are Middlesex so poor in it, also good to see Surrey stuttering slightly, although that Benning is a beast......the glorius glos'ters march on, we have a great chance of finals day this year.

Nasser came as close as he could to calling them sh*t without getting sacked tonight. lol A few youngsters in there as a result of poor performances from senior players and they didn't do that badly. Shame they failed to defend a decent score.

Having seen the weather forecast let's hope it doesn't rain like it did at the equivalent match last year.

I'm in block 10 of the new stand if anyone wants to say hi. :fishing:
