hhaha, middlesex, truly woeful, hertfordshire would have put up a better show.

So the glorius glos'ters are through to the quarters, two games to go aswell, even better was clocking up 227 without the legend that is IJ Harvey, and also without shaggy HJH Marshall, we will be the team other's will want to avoid

Middlesex were a disgrace tonight and they lost with a whimper. A team of nobodies, totally outclassed by an average Slurrey side.

To shocked to post figures, but it was all over by 19:45.

Emburey must go because a few injuries shouldn`t produce a team so lacking in leadership, ability and fight.

To lose to a 2nd div team as well like Slurrey.:nono:

Nothing to do with the result but wy, when there are only 18 professional teams in this country are Middlesex playing with 5 players born outside of the UK? County cricket is ****ed up and so will the England team be in a few years.

Not many times you'll find me agreeing with my old mukker ar$e face, but not a great deal I can add to his post.
Difficult to sell this one as a contest – you sensed from around the 2nd or 3rd over of the first innings that there was only one team going to win this and it sure as hell was not going to be Middlesex.

Truth is, though, I am not so sure Surrey are really any great shakes, but just made to look better thanks to the opposition.

what can i say, the glorious glos'ters chase down 190 (a record score at Sophia Gardens) in the rain and cement their place, Alex Gidman with a captains innings.
Any of you know how the quarters work (middlesex need not reply). Kind of want surrey at the oval, so I can go to it and meet a few more gpg'ers :sorted:

Top two from the three groups, plus two best placed third place teams; however head-to-head results count, and Sussex have the whip hand, despite Surrey's superior run rate; we'll need a miracle tomorrow night to squeeze into third place.

shame, oh well, good for us I suppose as Surrey have the upper hand against us in the 20/20.
Still, great to beat the welsh again ! :sorted:

The bottom two ties look like they could be close, Klusener hasn't fired for Northants yet but if he does you'd fancy him to score a lot quickly.

Gloucestershire and Surrey will simply come down to who plays better on the day.

I fancy the home side in the other two ties.

Discount Kent at your peril. :sorted: Andrew Hall is playing well and they have an aggressive batting line up all the way down the order.

:imwith: or should that be without the 'with'.

First time we've won more than we've lost in the group stages and that's despite being stuck with playing Surrey twice who always beat us. Maybe KCCC are taking it seriously this year. Just hope Surrey get knocked out so we don't have to play them again.

Shame Kemp's not playing but Henderson seems more than a capable replacement.

 Just seen the Leics Q/F is probably on TV - oh well, next year then.

Kent make Brentford's TV performances postively memorable.

Andrew Hall is now on his way back to South Africa, he won't play for Kent again this season.

You're joking! I thought that was after the 20 / 20's. Oh well, I guess it'll have to be down to Dwayne Bravo. Can you categorically state that you're correct (I have no doubt you are, I just want to make sure) because Greenvale are currently challenging for honours in the GPG Cricket League and I'll need to replace a 1000 pointer pretty sharpish.
