Got MOTM in their league 1 play off semi-final. Played well. Seems like one of the good guys. Good luck to him.

Occasionally you hear about an ex-player doing things at another club and you can't believe they're still playing because it seems so long ago that he was playing for us. Darius Charles is one of those. And he's only 32.

Good luck to him though.

Think he got Man of the Match from Sky on Monday night too. He's had a really solid career.

I had the same thought about another ex player last night when Darren Pratley came on. Feels like a lifetime ago since he represented us.

Thought this of Pratley last night, 05/06 season he was with us! Really does highlight how far we have come

...and as far as I can tell, there are only two other pre-"relegation to L2 in 2007" players still in the league - Simon Cox and John Mousinho.

Matt Harold was released by Orient last month but could still feasibly find another L2 club

Remember when Darius played in MA’s “reserve team” against Hull.
Thought he had a touch of quality about him. Very pleased he has carved out a good long career.

Didn't we win that?

He's contracted for next season, so has grafted his way up from the Conference in 2009-10 to the Championship in 2020-21.

Good luck to him. Pleased for him and Wycombe, but having seen their play-off games I really fear for them in the Championship.

I will always remember him fondly if any for the last minute winner against Vale on the final day of 06/07 when I'd honestly forgotten what it felt like to win a match.

Released by Wycombe.

He’s 33 and racked up 400 odd games since he left us.

Appearances have been limited for Wycombe but hopefully he can get himself fixed up somewhere soon.

I think even WW realised the Championship was a step too far for Darius. He’d give a good couple of seasons experience, in a variety of positions, to a team like Orient.
Gave it his best. Think Eddie Hutch
