Not offered a new deal at St Johnstone this season according to Twitter.

I never saw any evidence that David MaCcracken actually exists. He's just a virtual player or a figment of our imaginations I think.

Never played for us?

Started the first game of the season at Carlisle but was hauled off by AS at half time as I recall; I saw him once when he came on for the last 25 minutes or so at Exeter and he did OK replacing, I think, Mark Phillips.

Not sure about Orient in the JPT but AS never seemed to rate him after an apparently poor first half at Carlisle; you have to think, really, that he was another instance of not overly brilliant player management and, unlike Richard Lee, he didn't get another chance and didn't have someone like Simon Royce batting for him.

3 games.
Carlisle (subbed at ht) and Exeter (came on for Legge on 69 mins) in the league and Orient (played full game) in the JPT.

One of the worst signings ever, an MK bod laughed when he rang me to say he was on his way to us, he mentioned "Legs Gone" many times and after watching that 45 at Carlisle, he was right. A good 20 minutes at Exeter during that mental game that we stole, I think he headed one off the line at 4-2 up with 8 mintues to go, had that gone in we would have lost IMO.

Just scored for Peterhead ( or Peterheed as known locally) away at Berwick Rangers. Cold old place to ply your trade.

During his time with Peterhead, McCracken took on coaching responsibilities.

He left Peterhead in November 2019 to take a coaching position at Falkirk, working with Lee Miller. After a few games in interim charge of the team, McCracken and Miller were given control until the end of the 2019–20 season.

I remember him coming on as a sub at Exeter and he appeared enormous, even for a centre half. Never saw him again.
