Was clearly carrying a first half injury throughout the game.
Surprised he stayed on as long as he did. Guess there was no real cover on the bench as Hammar ended up at left wing back.

Did OK, ran himself into the ground and had to go off with cramp. Was a good outlet on the left side.

Felt he was at 100mph whenever he got the ball and dropping back to 80mph would help him. I think like a lot of the B teamers he probably noticed a big difference in the pace of the game compared to what they've been used to.

Good, great motor on him. Very eager which caused the constant cramps
Thought he looked good and had something about him. Give him a couple more appearances under his belt and will be useful cover for Rico and may eventually challenge him for his spot as Roerslev Will with Henrik on the other side .

I thought he looked decent, but a long way from another Rico......
agree, if you'd been told one of him or Roerslev was from Arsenal's U23s I think you'd have picked Roerslev! Still early days for him though..

Thought he was good. Progressive play and got in good attacking positions. Quick and strong in the tackle. Hampered by cramp and a couple of other knocks but looks a really good prospect.

I thought he did well for the most part. Of course, he's not Rico Henry yet but he'll learn. After his 'shot' at goal I heard some bloke in front of me on Saturday say, "And that's why he never made it at Arsenal". Really? Where do these people come from? He's 19 FFS, he's playing in only his third first-team match and he's a defender. What was he expecting? I heard a fair few say similar when JDS sent that free kick all the way to Lionel Road last season and now look at him.

There's no hope for some of our fans I'm afraid. Can't see what's in front of them.

I thought he had an excellent game. Tough to criticise on the goal: A pinpoint perfect pass worthy of a good premier league side. Overall, did very well. Clearly not going to challenge Rico yet but not a million miles away

Saw some very good aspects - especially the technical skills and goign forward... however he needs to work on his composure when being chased down as he hurriedly kicked away possession.. lots of positive stuff to look forward to

Looks like he favours his right foot so playing left back not easy. Bit like Moses last season...always needs to come inside (in to traffic) rather than offering the natural width a lefty footer brings.

Did ok. Gave the ball away quite a bit. Good minutes for him but think he’s a way behind Roerslev in the backup full back category.

Pretty sure he’s left footed. If he cuts inside it’s because swinging in crosses from deep is not really our strategy.

Eh? He's left footed.

I thought it took him about 20 minutes to work out what was going on but he grew into the game from then. Hopefully, it's match fitness that's the only thing missing.

Agreed, he looked good overall. Better than his previous performances. Will be a good player but just like a couple of the others still needs more time to develop before we should consider them as first team material.

Arteta and Thomas Frank seem to agree about poor fitness levels at Arsenal regardless of whether first team or development squad. Will come back a completely different player next year as Josh has. Hopefully a way of working on his fitness levels in meantime so we have cover for Rico.

A few too many flicks and tricks in the defensive areas for me, sometimes leading to giving the ball away. Will be a good player, just about decision making.

wasn't flawless by any means, but i was impressed by how good he was on the ball. he'll have seen (and it's part of the point) that he still needs to raise his game a few more levels - up to him now. he looks capable.

More than capable. As others have said, needs a little more composure and his pass completion was a bit off but that will come with games and experience. The more he plays the better he will get. Looked gutted to run out of gas again after 75 minutes. This is obviously something he will need to build up with training and playing more games.

Thought struggled a bit but got better as game went on. Needs some time.

Maybe just me but he reminds me a bit of Roger Stanislaus (one for the older fans).

Many fans at Arsenal brought this on themselves, by joining in the external attacks on Wenger. What with the ground move, changes in control at the top, media insults, the battles with Abramovitch and Ferguson, players started to do their own thing in the dressing room. Still looks a bloated mess to me even though Arteta might get a better tune out of them. The money floating about there is totally phenomenal.

Cramp can be debilitating. Should be ok at his age. He was a big strong player once he got going against Leicester. I would love to see him on for a bit tonight.

For who? Prefer Rico to stay fit and on myself.

Funnily enough i thought when he did his little flicks they came off, a couple of times he tried to hoof it clear and it just ricocheted into dangerous areas

Like the first 20 seconds :D

Thought the back heel in our penalty area in the first half took nerve but maybe it was the result of good communication?

Rico would do well in the premiereship. Hoping he stays. Will leave a hole but at least a good performance by his understudy today.

If he's anything like a typical Arsenal product, he'll need about 25-30 games to get up to a basic level of physicality needed for the Championship!
