Brentfords New Stadium 11:29 - Feb 3 with 1170 views enfieldargh
Was chatting to a fellow fan yesterday and he was telling me that Brentford have a few issues with their new build.
The Stadium original capacity has had to be reduced to 17k as the original 20K+ plan the site was not big enough to fit.
He was also saying that the current site allows for a pitch that is smaller than regulations and that the capacity may be reduced to c.12k.
The original architect apparently made a total balls up even after all approved?
Anyone know any more on this? .........went on qpr forum and have found this statement ....got to be a load of sh*t surely

Can't answer these questions anymore. Largely because I wasn't there. What time were these taken?
Don’t like the look of the big shadow in the corner.
I wonder how near the finished article the south stand roof is? Looks a bit weird.
You've answered your own question.
Why isn’t the north stand built yet?
It's a large erection that needs a lot of clear space around it for the equipment. Why isn’t the north stand built yet?

Tbh, most QPR fans struggle to count to two, never mind four and as for nineteen - that's infinnu... innfinn... unfinunity... a lotThere we go. The RaRas putting 2 & 2 together to make 19. Idiots.
If your a qpr fan and you drive that way to home games that’s going to be soul destroying seeing that go up,how funny![]()
................quite unique indeed...............It’s. Brilliant to finally see the actual shape of the main structure.
Just for GP2000000000...........it’s quite/very unique![]()
.................'almost unique'..............please stop it.............I've posted on many occasions that the layout means each stand has an almost unique approach to each stand's turnstiles, with no two stands having the same appearance and no two stands having the same surroundings (although there's no escaping railway lines). This means that each can develop its own character with the fans inside.
...............................
Drove past it on the M4 before Saturday's game and it's bloody massive![]()

Actually, "almost unique" is valid, meaning that it is rare or distinctive while not being singular. "Almost pregnant", on the other hand....................'almost unique'..............please stop it.............
Blimey , if we end up with that capacity let's hope we don't draw Barnet in the cup again. We will have to hire Wembley to accommodate all of them. In all seriousness though, surely it would have been double/triple checked before starting such a bit project
