Maybe you couldn’t but the south were bloody buzzing mate.

The WHOLE ground was buzzing WWB. Just a bit of fun aimed at NL.

Use the ear trumpet or turn your aid up you silly old sod, looked quietCrikey! It looked really quiet over there. The atmos school report for the south stand says ‘must try harder’.
Same happened to us. Door woman was very forthcoming in telling us no re-entry after exiting. We showed our season tickets, said we’ve left the north stand and are going to the bar. When we purchased season ticket we were told that entry would be given access to this facility after the game which is not being given as people are told by the stewards that once you leave the ground re entry was not allowed .can someone please tell me that there has been a change in procedure and we haven’t been told .friends are coming from north stand and can’t get entry ????
What not just assume that they don't know (given it is the first fixture etc.) and ask for a supervisor? Perhaps your sartorial skills weren't up to scratch. Wear you wearing jeans and training by chance?Same happened to us. Door woman was very forthcoming in telling us no re-entry after exiting. She repeated no entry after exiting.
Couldn’t be arsed with it so got back in the crowds to spend 10 minutes getting to express tavern who were very busy and very welcoming in getting us in and to an area we couldn’t see.
It’s amazing what a suit & a security tag does to some people for power.
More less of revenue for the club. I wonder how many were turned away
We went round as was told was doable. What not just assume that they don't know (given it is the first fixture etc.) and ask for a supervisor? Perhaps your sartorial skills weren't up to scratch. Wear you wearing jeans and training by chance?
You don't have to make an argument. Just politely has to speak to her supervisor because "we have been assured that access to this area is permitted after the match to season ticket holders". If see refuses then look around for someone more reasonable to speak too - there will be plenty around that area.We went round as was told was doable.
I wasnt wasting my time making an argument of it with her. She was clear enough and sure of what she was saying.
First fixture, yes, but how would they not know.
What we were wearing wasnt mentioned.
Just told stern enough no re-entry after exit. Then repeated word for word when explained. There wasnt to be a compromise.
I had a ticket in the dug out for valencia wore trainers, got in no problem. One of us might have had shorts on
Na. Wasnt going to go through it, was people all around us. Too much aggro. You don't have to make an argument. The bit about trainers and denim was a little joke.
OK. That's up to you of course. But don't be deterred from asking next time. Perhaps someone else.Na. Wasnt going to go through it, was people all around us. Too much aggro.
She was sure of herself even though I said we are able to go in.
Its double denim or denim
Wrong thread.Serious question. Why is there no food or drink available to visiting fans in the stadium - or maybe there is ?
Is it a Premier League / police / BFC directive ?
"true facts".....Fruit boy put the thread to bed if you want to ridicule the true facts you and you merry band of non believers and uck off back to Swansea
The most powerful of all the facts"true facts".....
Are there untrue facts then?Fruit boy put the thread to bed if you want to ridicule the true facts you and you merry band of non believers and uck off back to Swansea
My ticket was in the dugout tonight.OK. That's up to you of course. But don't be deterred from asking next time. Perhaps someone else.
My ticket was in the dugout tonight.
I left straight after the final whistle, upon leaving, 2 Bees fans had left a different stand to join some in dugout bar which was pretty empty but still open.
2 stewards were refusing them entry saying the same as they did me the other week, “ no readmission after the game “.
One of the fellas was clearly getting peed off explaining to them that he is not looking for readmission, that he has left a different stand to join people in the dugout.
One steward replied says who.
He said the club.
I don’t know how it concluded.
Yeah this was also covered in my discussion with Alan Walsh. My ticket was in the dugout tonight.

Has Winnie been redeployed? Our little group was blatantly lied to by an ultra aggressive, surly, rude etc female blue high vized steward. She very forcefully informed us that the Dugout was shut after the game and we would not under any circumstances be getting anywhere the bar now or at any other time.If a bloke had spoken to me like she did this situation could have totally gone wrong,is was feckin’ fuming.Luckily my woman pulled me away…Not prepared to let it go we spoke to two young chaps(suited and booted)who were standing too the left of the Dugout entrance,lo and behold within two minutes we we’re supping a cold one in a near deserted Dugout bar with a bar that was very much open!!!!The two young fellas were an absolute credit to themselves and the club unlike the lady steward who was appalling, the look on her face as we were ushered up the stairs was an absolute treat.
In comparison she made Winnie seem approachable.Has Winnie been redeployed?

Could very well have been me.My ticket was in the dugout tonight.

Yes, let all those who are exiting the stadium leave. Say to people who want to get in, you will need to wait 10 minutes. Assess the situation and then let people in if room. All it needs is for someone to say “chaps can you just give us a couple of minutes to see how much room we’ve got”.Not rocket science really.
It’s been said on here before, Bill, but those of us who opted for the North Stand were told, when buying, that we would have post-match access to the Dugout bar if there was sufficient space.thought the whole idea of the dugout bar was to keep the riff raff out so they are only doing their jobs.
Yes mate I posted in jestIt’s been said on here before, Bill, but those of us who opted for the North Stand were told, when buying, that we would have post-match access to the Dugout bar if there was sufficient space.
can you BYO ?? no not BYE !!! lolYes mate I posted in jestthat’s what I understood and it looks like this plan hasn’t reached all of the stewards. As a lot of us have chosen to be at different parts of the ground it’s a great place to meet up after the game and also good for the clubs coffers
I’ve already got people on the door looking out for youcan you BYO ?? no not BYE !!! lol
They allow a younger group of fans in to dissipate the smell of wee emanating from the West stand.thought the whole idea of the dugout bar was to keep the riff raff out so they are only doing job
Stayed in there for atleast an hour after the game last nightI had the same problem last night, coming from the West Stand, was told by the female steward that the bar was closing tonight virtually straight after the game so no admission was allowed, but it would be staying open after league games. It all didn’t seem to ring true to be honest but whatever the reason we were not allowed in.
Yep that’s the painful thing, we ended up in the express tavern, surely we would be better off putting the money into the club? I could slightly understand some teething issues during the home friendlies, but that’s exactly what they were for, not just the players but us and the stewards and match day staff to get up to speed for when the season starts. But it’s getting to the point where these excuses of non communication to stewards and not allowing us in to the bar ( where capacity allows) is becoming a joke really. It’s extremely poor customer service and relations imo.Stayed in there for atleast an hour after the game last night
What is the capacity of the dugout bar?
800/900 if that's how many seats there are in the Dug-Out area......?!
Was the lounge space not created for as many corporate seats as they could possibly squeeze in, after all thats where the big spenders/hospitality/revenue come into play, the rest of us have to put up with limited access/menu/drinks selection.Would think that the club would want to maximise its business re drink and food. That’s why MB opted for a smaller capacity and more lounge space or have i got that wrong?
Not sure i may have read it wrong, could not make last night, Daughter got married last Sat and am still hanging. Went against the arse could not drink as was driving. Must admit i love the dugout. Will be much the same against Brighton as driving again. Burgers hot dogs and chips will always sell. Was the lounge space not created for as many corporate seats as they could possibly squeeze in, after all thats where the big spenders/hospitality/revenue come into play, the rest of us have to put up with limited access/menu/drinks selection.
Although I was pleasantly surprised last night as I went upmarket in the Dug Out stand, nice padded seat, stools and tables, same food and drinks, with added samosas if you wish, Just had a good look round because I had already eaten and drank in the pub prior, On to the North Stand for the BHA game, then that's all stands done, Although I heard a few moans last night, mainly families with kids, that the staple footie fare of Burgers,Hot Dogs/Chips are no longer available, I know you can buy them outside the ground, but its not the same, and its lost revenue.
Depends whether they permit safe standing - or not. What is the capacity of the dugout bar?
Me and my friends in the Dug out support diversity and inclusion, hence why it’s all Samosas and Morroccan Chick Pea Balti. Not sure i may have read it wrong, could not make last night, Daughter got married last Sat and am still hanging. Used to enjoy the chips at GP as a veggie. Felt last night that the catering can only get better .Was the lounge space not created for as many corporate seats as they could possibly squeeze in, after all thats where the big spenders/hospitality/revenue come into play, the rest of us have to put up with limited access/menu/drinks selection.
