The Draw will be split North and South

25 ties
50 clubs

So the South draw will have 24 or 26 clubs
No seeding
All Round 1 Winners ( 35 clubs )
Plus 13 PL clubs not in Europe ( Including Brentford )
Plus Fulham and WBA

Matches are 2 weeks time on 24th or 25th Aug
Between Palace away and Villa away

.................Forest Green away then...............
That’d be ideal. Nailsworth’s a lovely little town with some great pubs. Also a chance for the more foodie fans to stock up at the excellent delis, not to mention the all vegan catering at the grounds. Also I have a friend who lives there so would have a room for the night!

Well, our fringe players did rather well last season and we have a much deeper squad this season so let’s not write it off just yet!

Seeing Oldham, in front of 2,000 odd at a decaying stadium, do a pitch invasion after beating Tranmere on penalties in R1 gave me one of those ‘without MB that would be be us’ moments.

I'm quite hoping for Forest Green away now.
Highly not recommended by Bristol City fans last night who reckon the away end was significantly over-sold - or at the very least incredibly badly stewarded - and people were stuck on the concourse if arriving after 7:30 because the away end was too crowded. Very odd. And they were moaning when they were 2-0 up, not just because they lost!

I had a pretty good time when I went there to tick off a new ground though, despite the bitter cold at the top of that hill.

So Birmingham are South but Aston Villa are North !!!

I guess an 5 - 8 split of the PL clubs North and South wasn't fair ??
