Awful draw but an excellent opportunity to progress further IMO. I suspect they will rest players also.

Not exactly the kindest. Winnable mind, but it's going to be a hard slog. Can see penalties for this....

Pretty sh*t draw, but we can win it and progress.

With the rara's playing Sunderland, it's panning out to be a tie with them.

Apart from not being at home I think this is fine. We avoided the other Prem teams, that's the main thing and we have a very good chance to progress to the quarters again...

Our reserve X1 wouldn’t have learnt much from last night so this is a proper test for them, so happy on that front

As it’s a fairly distant, midweek, cup game against lower division opponents we’ve never beaten away, ahead of another hard to get to PL away, I hope this will have no TAPs threshold and go straight to sale to both STs and members. Filling the away end when home fans might be a bit meh about the game would be great.

So Sky will pick Leeds

Has to be Weds

Oh no an unglamorous away game, whatever will we do...

Remember that FA Cup run where we played away to Rochdale, Oldham and Stockport before we got to play big club Sunderland?

The bigger question is whether to find another unglamorous midweek game up north to take in the day before or the day after...

Evening again Bees, it's great to see you holding your own in the league. We'll done. 👏👏.
Sooooo..... You're coming up to our place for the next round ay. Bit of a bummer trip for a Tues evening, we've been fortunate to get a home draw. Should be a good game hopefully, and also hope your reserve players play, to give us a fighting chance. The stat about you're record at Stoke is actually a worry for me, as its high time you broke the hoo doo.
We beat the hornets in the last round, so onto the bees 🙂. All the best anyway ladies and gents, and I'm glad you're doing alright. It was great to see you smash Wolves last weekend, nice one 😁

Only 3 lower placed teams in the last 16 so it’s a pretty decent draw really.

I have seen us win at Stoke in a cup tie, ok it wasn’t the first team but after drawing with them at GP we won the FA Youth Cup 4th round replay 2-1 at the Victoria Ground In 1988/89 season

My main memory of that night was walking along the road outside the Main Stand and them singing Delilah the sound filled the street. Very impressive for a youth cup tie and that was my first visit to the ground

I wish we'd never moved from the Victoria ground, and redeveloped it instead. Instead of sticking the new ground in the middle of nowhere on top of an old coal mine, exposed to all the elements 🤷‍♂️

Funnily enough both of us lost to Spurs last year. Them in QF and us in SF. Both hoping for a second successive QF.

Initial reaction was meh! Having thought about it.... its definitely better than City, Chelsea, Liverpool where our fringe/B team wouldnt have a great chance. 2 or 3 first team regulars and a strong bench we are big favourites to be in the 1/4 final and some potential huge games. We will also see a 1000 hard core Bees making the journey up to Stoke so I hope the club gives decent TAPS for this one!

Don’t think that will happen. What’s more important win at Stoke or win at Burnley?
No way will the first team play 3 games in 6 days!

Burnley is the bigger game for sure!

Do we reckon we'll use the opportunity for a in season training camp? Stoke on Wednesday and Burnley on Saturday sounds like a bit of travelling. St Georges Park for three or four days might be a perfect base for these two..

How many Taps for flying home from Cyprus on holiday for this one. At least I should be able to get a couple of tickets for my son and daughter.

I could throw in my two. Might get a job lot rate. Mind you unhappy JRTsmight lead to a trashed downstairs or up stairs too if they run wild!
Doing some serious begging later today. Can leave here at 6pm and be back home for 10.30pm ... might leave them indoors, whilst going to game
