We came close in 01-02 with a very young team missing key players
Winnable tie, chance of hitting the Quarter finals two years on the bounce.
It's an excellent draw. If we can't beat Stoke, even away from home on a rainy weekday night, we don't deserve to progress to the quarter finals.
I wish we'd never moved from the Victoria ground, and redeveloped it instead. Instead of sticking the new ground in the middle of nowhere on top of an old coal mine, exposed to all the elementsI have seen us win at Stoke in a cup tie, ok it wasn’t the first team but after drawing with them at GP we won the FA Youth Cup 4th round replay 2-1 at the Victoria Ground In 1988/89 season
My main memory of that night was walking along the road outside the Main Stand and them singing Delilah the sound filled the street. Very impressive for a youth cup tie and that was my first visit to the ground
Don’t think that will happen. What’s more important win at Stoke or win at Burnley?
No way will the first team play 3 games in 6 days!
How many Taps for flying home from Cyprus on holiday for this one. At least I should be able to get a couple of tickets for my son and daughter.Initial reaction was meh! Having thought about it.... its definitely better than City, Chelsea, Liverpool where our fringe/B team wouldnt have a great chance. 2 or 3 first team regulars and a strong bench we are big favourites to be in the 1/4 final and some potential huge games. We will also see a 1000 hard core Bees making the journey up to Stoke so I hope the club gives decent TAPS for this one!
Doing some serious begging later today. Can leave here at 6pm and be back home for 10.30pm ... might leave them indoors, whilst going to gameI could throw in my two. Might get a job lot rate. Mind you unhappy JRTsmight lead to a trashed downstairs or up stairs too if they run wild!
