After seeing clips of Brighton fans, do we worry as Brentford fans, of "newer" Bees fans, not understanding our journey as a club and becoming entitled. I have some very good mates who are Brighton fans having lived in Lingfield for 16yrs not far from Brighton, my mates have been through the ups and downs, I asked them about what happened. They commented on the "newer" fans who have only followed with the recent success, these were culprits for the "booing". They have concerns within their fanbase of losing what it means to be a Brighton fan.

It worries me if we manage to sustain our PL stay that we soon may see this.

I am just focused on enjoying the 'journey'. Like many here I have endured the ups and downs of supporting this club. We, like any other club, have always been keen to attract new fans and I am certain this has been made easier since we were promoted to the premier league. It is inevitable that we will loose some of these new fans if and when, god forbide, we loose our premier league status. Do I care - nope - it will be their loss not mine/ours. I will just enjoy the camaraderie with those new fans who have decided to stay.

Yes and no. My son’s 15 and been coming sporadically since he was 2. This season is the first one where until Sunday he’d only seen us lose!

Strange thing to worry about!
Whilst some may pinch themselves, don't be lulled into thinking Brentford don't deserve to be where they are, if you're in the Prem, you bloody well deserve to be there!
You need a big team mentality, and should be constantly thinking about improvements, not getting sentimental.
The defence needs to strengthen, it's been carved open too many times,

You don't have to forget the route that the club has taken to get to this point, but now we're in the big league, let's think big.

Despite being a newbie I feel my football upbringing with Scarborough, as they were dying their way through the non league pyramid, will always make me appreciate what other long standing Bees have gone through.

I would never dream of booing them, ever, and the day I leave before a lap of honour (home or away) is the day I'll pass my ST onto someone else.

I hope, the other newbies feel the same.

I think it is inevitable and unavoidable.
I too know many good Brighton fans who have been on their journey from Hereford to the Godstone to Gillingham to the Withdean and The Amex, but they see their club disappearing up its own backside.
Those booing never witnessed a rainy night at Withdean and have never heard of Gillingham.
Those booing could well come from Horshams new estates where supporters of far flung northern clubs have bought Season tickets for the Albion.
I know because I have met them.

We already have unrealistic fans whove booed and shown displeasure this season .

Exemplified by Everton fans hurling abuse at their own players at the end of Sunday’s game against us and again this evening with the exodus of a number of their fans when Liverpool scored their 2nd after about 20 minutes. Hardly any of them were still in the ground at the final whistle and booing could be heard throughout the game.

No way to support your team. Disgraceful in fact.
