Costly mistake today and looked shakier than in recent games. Hopefully just a one off. Had good moments bringing the ball out of defence.
The wind was a problem today, and certainly played a part in his mistake for their opening goal.

Ethan has been immense for us this season, so I can forgive this one.

Exactly what I said at half-time. That 'misjudgement' (let's give him that) of the long ball in the wind which lead to their first goal seemed to throw him and lose confidence. He clearly didn't want the ball after that and was very hesitant when he got it – not bringing the ball out but looking for the easy ball after taking too long. He wasn't helped by Da Silva giving the ball away in front of him, though. It took the personal changes to get back to some semblance of normality.
Not often you're wrong IMO. But you are this time, I'm afraid to say.

a). wind-assisted first goal (clear to see several other similar incidents when watching recording on TV). Not a Pinnock error.

b). again, watching on TV (recording, cool-headed, already knowing result), Ethan had a very sound game where he was frequently involved in possession (as opposed to the picture you paint of a nervous player keen to avoid the action).

We all see it different but I agree with jlove. He has been an absolute rock but was edgy after his misjudgement today. No doubt he'll be back to his best on Tuesday.

More than enough credit in the bank to quickly forget about that mistake

Is it me or does Ethan look a bit like Snoop dogg
no, i thought it too when he arrived - didn't share here because of the lack of cultural appreciation on the GPG lol

I expect Ollie or Said will win Player of the season, but I think
Ethan has been brilliant since he came into the side and has been
the most improved player.

I thought he seemed to be back to his best today, after quite an average run.

Yes. Much better. Him and Rico were very good today.

Won’t get the plaudits because of the scoreline but the performance of Ethan was very important today.

First time in a while I had every confidence that we would keep a clean sheet.

Did I see a 50 yard run out of defence with the ball from EP in the first half today?? Or was I confusing him with JDS?? Not great viewing from N501.........

about 2 minutes in listening to his interview with Ian Abrahams for talksport, the questioning is really cringey and fair play to Pinnock for managing to keep it engaging although it sounds like hard work

A couple of interesting points raised, but mostly cringeworthy stuff. Abrahams is a buffoon.

That was honestly one of the best defensive performances I’ve seen. Absolutely stunning.

What a player. To think we got £12m for Mepham and replaced him with Pinnock for a fraction of the cost. Bournemouth have effectively paid for us to have a better defence!

The best. Not a great Harlee Dean fan but a couple of years he was immensed against Leeds at home. I said to my mates at the time wow best defensive performance I have ever seen but tonight tops it from Pinnock.

What a player. What a performance. Does it all with ease. Des Walker on Bambi legs.... but better (than both).
