In 2008 when we were in league two and won 3-0 ? yep i was there that day , could'nt agree more .
That seems a fair idea

👍🏻 I'd be getting first dibs on that basis too.
Most of new Brentford will be in the STH category but heyho

Excellent ticket prices. Compare that with Brentford tickets prices for Chelsea at home for the q/f game.

Excellent news for those whom otherwise would have no/ very little chance of getting a ticket (in the away end) for the league game. I fall into that category. It be interesting to know if any GPGers were at Goodison for the 6-1 loss in 1954.

Bill Benn and Kettering Bee most likely for starters.

I think the volume will be at richter scale for this game.

Hoping the TAPS are realistic for this one. Planning a weekender :bounce:

300 of us, freezing, made me laugh when I read real Brentford turned up last weekend.
Yep. Whoever said it was ‘real Brentford’ who turned up last weekend at Vale….. yes, there were many - but also there’d have been many (most?) who, well, no. Just no.

This is a massive one for me!

Near the in-laws, so can drop off wife and kids. ✅
Direct trains from in-laws to Liverpool, that return late ✅
First weekend back on the sauce after dry January ✅
Last away game I can do before moving abroad ✅
Went to port vale so guaranteed a ticket as proper Brentford ✅ 😎

Slightly off topic but the away following this season has been nothing short of exceptional. I still can’t believe the numbers for Wolves away when lunchtime kick off and if I remember on live on Sky/ BT sport. Don’t let anyone tell you we are a small club.
Wolves, Burnley and Leeds in particular were very impressive. And Brighton considering the circumstances.

Fair f***s to em.

And we tried charging £40 or was it £50 for a league cup game
First home QF able to be attended by fans in 70 years v Champions of Europe, in a 17K stadium, as opposed to 4th Round v newly promoted "Bus Stop in Hounslow" in one that holds 40K........🤔

Not that I'm complaining 😃

Yep. And we tried charging 40/50 quid for it.
Then the club were forced to back down, and the ground was still full of tourists.

Everton know theyll get the attendance even if they charged normal prices. Fair play to them

Will we take 6000?
Depends on how the club manages the sales, I should say. Hopefully it’ll be STs and Members and as many tickets as they want on first sale. I think any other system will fail spectacularly.

Hopefully I can buy 1 as a member with 1029 taps + 1 for F&F. Not sat with my nephew at a game since pre-season.

No longer my beloved NAM
One per ST holder regardless of TAPS - we won't sell 6000 to ST holders so then to all members at 1 each so it is fair to all

while you are undoubtedly correct it’s just not a risk they should take. There should be a band which guarantees top 6,000 taps a ticket even if only for a day in my lowly opinion

I just don't see any way we sell 6000 tickets without it going to general sale - we struggled to sell similar at Chelsea so to think we will do so for this match at 1 per person before it gets to members just isn't going to happen. TAPS for the league game but not for this as it is double the allocation IMHO

So we've only taken 4,500 tickets. Think there will be some disappointed people here.
