Club don't think we will sell more than 4,500 🙄

To be fair and the club might be wrong I think we'll just about sell 4,500 for this one but it'll take time. 6,000 would be some effort which I'm not convinced we'd sell so if the club have went with 4,500 I think it is the right call. If they're wrong hopefully there'll be a chance to increase the allocation.

Hmmmm that’s disappointing. Did the club have to pay for them up front and lose any money on unsold tickets?
Yes but if we took 6,000 tickets and sold only 4,500 then the cost to the club would be £10,000. Or less than 1% of the income from a televised game.

Having witnessed their performance at Norwich today £15 is starting to look a little extortionate.

I just don't see any way we sell 6000 tickets without it going to general sale - we struggled to sell similar at Chelsea so to think we will do so for this match at 1 per person before it gets to members just isn't going to happen. TAPS for the league game but not for this as it is double the allocation IMHO

Dont recall us struggling for Chelsea. Our most recent visit sold out in a couple of days from memory

If we struggled with the 6k initially, could've allowed anyone who's got a ticket a +1 similar to the Chelsea QF to eliminate any issues.
An easy fall back that wouldn't even be needed, mind.
Shame

So change the charter then stick to the charter 😂
No flexibility. Anyway I've got a suitcase of wine and off to a party. 😁

Not even that much as we just give them to 1500 school kids that don’t need to show up.

We need to sell out this fixture. Everyone needs to attend. EVERYONE.

Even Rick Wakeman.

Not seeing anything clever below £60 now from London. That’s gone up in the last couple of days.

Just checked the ticketing thread on here from the game. On sale 17th Jan, sold out the allocation of just under 5.9k in two days.
Hmm OK might have got the wrong game but I remember one of the FA Cup games going to general sale and only selling out just before the day - apologies

I think the volume will be at richter scale for this game.
There’s a job right up your street booking fifty plus coaches for the 7am start to Everton on 5 Feb good luck

What is the success rate of getting seats together for tickets bought in different windows

The ticket office will try to accommodate. Both times I’ve asked (Burnley & Stoke) they’ve obliged. Harder/impossible if you have different quality seats (eg if you have one with a restricted view). Though you could say you don’t mind them both being restricted and let the club allocate someone else your unrestricted view seat (don’t think the other way would work- if someone has paid for unrestricted they’ll be annoyed to be sent a worse ticket).

Must just be me. I'd be genuinely gobsmacked if we sold more than 2,000 for this game. What makes a reserve game a couple of hundred miles away such a big deal? Am I missing something? 🤷‍♂️
