Don't mind that. At home against a lower league club, winnable, blood a couple of youngsters, get some minutes on some fringe players and get some confidence back into some of our first teamers.

Just like Walsall and Notts County in recent years then. Oh, wait...

The way were playing at the moment, anything could happen. I prefer a winnable draw than getting embarrassed at the hands of a top prem club.

Looking at their league position Robinson might not be in charge come January.

Can't complain about the ticket prices. Well done Bees. Perhaps mods may now like to remove 'TBC' from the thread title!

I am old enough to remember our last meeting with them in the FA Cup in 1964. The Braemar Road stand was packed, as was the rest of the ground, but the the FA Cup meant something in those days.

If BFC don't think the FA Cup is important then neither should supporters. I will go if not busy but if I am will just go for a beer after.
The FA Cup is ruined.

I was there for that: something like 29,000 in attendance. Biggest crowd I've ever seen at GP.

Why do they have to move the overseas tv matches to 12:30?

Interesting article in the Telegraph Sports Section about the variety of ko times over the weekend. The FSF have now got involved and are taking a lead role in taking the FA to task about the situation, and are writing to the FA to reconsider its approach in future rounds. As an example, Palarce v Grimsby wouldn't be anybody's choice as a TV match, but is kicking off at 5.30 pm meaning Mariner's fans going to the match won't be able to get home using public transport. Sorry can't get the full article on to here as on phone.

I was there. It was a 4th Round replay,we had drawn 2-2 at Oxford 3 days earlier. The draw for the 5th Round had been made and the winner was drawn home to play Blackburn, then a top first division side. Massive expectation at GP that night. We were a division above Oxford and clear favourites. 26,000 packed in under the Tuesday evening lights. Of course we lost .

I was there as well. We had beaten Middlesbrough 2-1 at home in the third round and I think most were expecting us to progress to round 5 especially after the 2-2 draw away at Oxford. I was squashed in the New Road stand as it was then.
