Funniest response I've seen in a long time!! Lol lol

Loved the question about getting a relegation bonus for Button. lol
I've got an idea. Stop passing the microphone up and down the table all evening.
Like Dean Smith. Comes over as very positive.
Didn't take any notes but from memory the main discussion points were:
- General consensus from panel was top 6 was realistic target but aware of what we are up against. Based on previous forums i've been to, I found this a pleasant admission where previously people were against setting specific targets.
- Giles said option to recall Jota during the season, personal issues still ongoing so can't comment too much. Had a baby in Spain so best if he stays for now. I didn't get the impression we'd see him this season.
- Rasmus said we lost out financially with Judge's injury, no real help with insurance etc and likely he would have been sold for big money during the summer anyway. Hoping he'd be back before Christmas.
- Crown said Lionel Road was progressing but admitted it was a slow burner. Mentioned some sort of CDV agreement had been issued last week by council which was another hurdle cleared. Said he remembers writing blog back in 2013 where he said we'd be in ground by 2016 so didn't want to put a timescale on it. Devlin later said hoped to get on site after Christmas but 2019 was now more realistic start date.
- Smith still not to pick a captain, lots made about being a leader, vocal, etc but most important to him is who he thinks will play all 46 games.
- Smith said he took penalties as a player as a centre back but said his view is it should be strikers to add to their goal tally, suggestion therefore that it will be Hogan on penalties
- Smith said more signings possible before Saturday, possibly a striker but not looking for more centre mids, we have 4 already so 5 too many.
- Attempts made to sign Canos but was always out of our budget when competing with bigger clubs. Likewise Pritchard too expensive so won't be looking to sign.
- Crown mocked Holloway's relegation prediction and denied we were regressing. Ankersen also said that comparing us to this time last year we are much improved, particularly atmosphere around the training ground
-Giles said that visitors were driving round the training ground causing trouble and also people were watching training sessions who shouldn't have been, likely scouts, etc which caused closure of training ground.
- Devlin said no update on TicketZone scandal, no contact in over a year. Police investigation ongoing but ticketzone still not accepting responsibility.
- Devlin also said looking at plans for electric scoreboard and advertising, legal settlement agreed with pitch company over last seasons farce
- Devlin spoke about the kit, said Benham wants black shorts and socks but flexibility on shirt. General feedback on home kit was very positive compared to previous years
- Devlin said 5500 season tickets sold which was slightly less than last year but confident that once half season tickets, etc were included the figure would be similar if not more
- Smith suggested club could have blocked Vibe going to Olympics but Vibe was desperate to go so couldn't stand in his way. Admits he will be a loss.
- Some plans in place to commemorate 50 years since qpr takeover bid but nothing finalised. Said they would consider marking anglo Italian cup anniversary too.
Overall a good evening, agree Rasmus very quiet compared to last year but Giles came across better and positively. Smith seemed very natural and a good sense of humour.
Thanks super J, sounds like Ryan Woods could be captain from that.

Just watching the video on youtube. The club might want to edit the start where Ramus is talking to cliff. It sounds like they are talking about a transfer and Rasmus says this was the most crazy guy ever and another five minutes and I could have punched him in the face. Not perfect sound but what it sounded like to me!!! From about 2 minutes 20 seconds in.
You forgot that MD said there was too much white in the home kit, but he was trying to sell more

Won't start building till 2019?![]()
Firstly, I didn't miss the train. I caught my bus from Hampton but didn't expect Richmond to be totally gridlocked because of road closures in Petersham!! Ditched the bus, eventually caught a cab and arrived about five minutes late, two hours after leaving home!
Hence on arrival the only available seat was at the end and with only one mic had to pass it back and forth. Far from ideal. Therefore apologies to all both on the top table and the fans in attendance.
They are both on the board of Midtjylland so maybe it was to do with that club
He starts by mentioning 'the Spanish club' so pretty sure it's indeed a FCM thing!

Yep FCM sold Sisto to Celta Vigo for 5 mil plus add ons

Later someone had to have a good old grunt about about the Oxford game, yes the ****in Oxford game in the league cup nearly a year ago to the day and before Smith even joined the club. And how little effort or care our players put in, the question to that being how can "we" be reassured to not see that again. **** me, those sort of performances used to be consistent with us.

The hope was to start building in the new year, and with a 2 year build, that would mean the first game would be 2019. That's how I understood it all anyway.
They'd be better off buying up 3/4 cheap SM58s for the top table and cabling them up to the mixer.
Just noticed that P Giles was trying to get in as many Depeche Mode songs as possible. Some quotes: "get the balance right" and "people are people" - not to mention "my own personal jesus" when referring to Peter G
I thought he said that at first - after the high fives. On third listen it's clear he's actually talking about the guy he's negotiating with who says that. It's not Rasmus himself.
And a few mins later he confides to an add on (£500k?) they (signing club) appear not to know about. I think that's all we should sayseems sisto will year 800k a year gross.
A fascinating insight (13 mins in total of) into the dying embers of an FCM outgoing transfer. Tempted to write up a transcript before its deleted in the morning but out of respect for the club probably best not to. I'm sure others have already recorded it however.
Thanks BFC!
Nice to see it only took to the 2nd " question " to have a good old moan about how poor the friendlies aha e been and demanding more from them.
Not finished there.

Someone actually asked if the club are going to have any celebrations to our Anglo-Italian participation 25 years ago. Have you really turned up to ask that.
Does Ankersen have to explain our how BFC's scouting works at every fans forum ?
Besides that. Some decent answers given to some decent questions. The clubs ambition for this season,Jota and the ground to name 3.

Well it seems to change so often. 1 year we are hunting around Austria and Germany and Sweden looking for undervalued players as we can't afford British players, the next with less money we are only scouring English lower leagues.
What was disappointing was they didn't ask my question about the B team schedule, although I took the hint its random and will be against FCM U21 quite often.
Fried or Boiled onions this year? Was there a mention of this along with why can't we have decent beer in The Hive.
Think you may be reading into it a little much to backup your ongoing dislike of Devlin.
What's a GVD ?!

Another odd post.
Where has this Banana's dislike of Mark Devlin come from?
