Brentford Football Club can confirm the signing of Fin Stevens from Worthing with the 17-year-old set to join Neil MacFarlane’s Brentford B on a two-year contract with a club option of a one-year extension.
Discussing Fin’s arrival at the club, Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane says he is delighted to have captured the exciting young talent. He said: “Fin is somebody with a very good character and I believe that he’ll be good for the dressing room.
“He has been playing men’s football at the age of 16, which is fantastic, and that will have given him a lot of good experience. That can only stand him in good stead to come and deal with the physicality of things, and not only that, he’s been playing in a winning team. Before the lockdown Worthing were going to win the league, and that’s a really good thing because that will add to the winning culture. We’ll be able to add to his experiences at Brentford B with the variety of the games programme and the training that we have.”
