This could be our biggest game in recent history.
Every Brentford fan will want to be there but the big question is
whether BFC will give the Stevo fans the whole Wendy House or stick them in
a corner somewhere ? They don't travel well and I wouldn't expect more than 300.
It would be a shame to have 1,200 empty places that could be sold to our own.

Would be great if the club could just sell the top tier of the Wendy house and have bees in the terrace. Could be a big game for them also though so might bring more than normal

A very good point. Could we just give them the seats at top of Wendy house ???

What if Stevenage need a point to stay up?…they might bring more than the 300 another poster suggested…..like maybe 301.

By all means assess demand, but treat Stevenage with the respect I hope they'd give to us.

I know they haven't had a great season but biggest away following so far is 611, I'm sure if this is looked into by the club it will be done in the right way but they could easily turn up with 200-300 fans, with home areas sold out. Might be a discussion for nothing as have a feeling police wouldn't allow due to segregation before and during the game.

Logistical Nightmare.
Fill the ground with Bees and arrange a live beam back for away fans in the New Inn / Griffin / Globe.

Don't they do it at Loftus Road? Apologies for bad language, mods. :blush

Think its easier to segregate at loftus road due to entrances and facilities, ie toilets etc

its a good point and surely we can erect temporary segregation at the Brook rd end ie split the entrance and send them upstairs and us downstairs, open the gate and have that as an entrance as everyone will have tickets....those metal barriers will do

Problem would be that one set of fans wouldn't have access to the (limited) facilities in that end, New Road is busy enough without another 1000+ bees trying to use the toilets etc so allowing fans round there wont work.

Hopefully the club will look into the various possibilities but I suspect we are too limited in what can be done, short of not letting any Stevenage in at all.

Surely 'new' brentford can sort this one out? A friend came with me for the first time in years on Saturday and commented on how things had changed, well organised stewarding at the ticket office and entrance to new road, the barrier segregation for tickets or cash, polite staff at the refreshment counters, his words were 'small improvements go a long way with people, very impressed'

Couple of portaloos and that mobile French bistro thing will surely suffice

It all depends on Stevenage first and FL rules. If Stevenage will buy all tickets from BFC I think we might have to give them the full capacity.

How do Fulham get away with their neutral end?

I've mentioned this before, but can't remember the answer I got.

Barnsley at home in 1993 the away fans were in the seats and we were in the terrace at the Brook Rd end.

How did that work?

It's technically a home stand, but have you tried finding more than 1000 people who actually admit to supporting Fulham ?
It should be called Fulham Fans Anonymous. on a 12 step programme to give up football

Another scenario would be that Brentford fans would buy tickets from Stevo and take up the spaces unofficially.
Plenty of Bees live in that area.

Mr Pipe has moved away, but you are correct - certainly if the gpg is anything to go by, lots of us in Herts!

Many Bees know Stevo fans so it would be easy to get tickets for the away end if need be.

Is there a penalty for not letting in away fans for a league game? If so what is it?

It would be nice if promotion was secured some time before and we needed just a point to secure the title.

I would like the Trophy won by then and this is just our presentation day, just like Luton a few years ago. :)

If this pans out to be a day of celebration for the Bees and Stevenage know their fate by then, I would not expect that they would require anymore than 500 tickets. Surely there must be a way that we can accommodate that number and allow Brentford to sell 11500 tickets to our own supporters.

Can we save the victory parade until we have actually won something?

We have 3 very hard away games coming up this week which will go a long way to determining where we end up next season, why don't all the people who are scared they may miss out on stevenage go to these three games to ensure we have something to play for in the last game?

Did many miss out on tickets to the last game of last season? Until we move to LR I think we just have to bear the fact that GP can't accommodate everyone who wants to go. Just enjoy the fact that that is now becoming true when it really hasn't been in the recent past. At least this means that LR is currently unlikely to become a Darlington-esque white elephant!
