My Samosa was lovely and my lager was very cold so no complaints from me.I managed to grab some Samosas in the dugout late on and they were great

I had such a job getting there, i did not have time for eats or a drink. got back home at 1am, drank 3 bottles of morretti if thats how. It’s spelt, watched us on SSN,and went to bed at 4am still buzzing. Hopefully get to the Brighton game by train and sample a few beers in the dugout.
The bar looked confused when I ask for a pint of bitter and then I said London pride and he looked at me with pity. Everyone around seemed to be drinking Lager and when I got my pint I understood why. I understand with casual staff catering as sports events are difficult but our club has been fuelled by London Pride since I started attending in the 60’s. The beer in the hive was ok and hopefully as the season progresses can be made

I really liked the Dugout bar and have been left wondering if I have made the right choice.
I have also requested the Samosa's (lovely) in the Legends for those not playing by Fleet John's rules.

I am a veggie but saw someone with a burger,my word it looked mundane. Another using top of stairs to put coffee down to sort sugar etc out. If he had stepped back,well.....
No tables or chairs but I saw thru one of the steward controlled doors plenty of chairs.

Plenty of new staff who clearly never poured pints before, I won't moan about that. As that will get better. Will take time for it all to flow really well service wise just need to be patient.
The tw8 sausage was good. But I'd happily prefer a burger! Which wasn't at the kiosk at W235.

The trick is to follow the signs for W135.If it’s the same as the West Stand arrangements, this might help:

Glad you mentioned that Lingfield (and apologies for butting in on the thread Cheesefarm). I'm in W234, and couldn't work out how to get to the "upper concourse" in the West Stand at the Valencia game last week. Probably obvious, but I could only see how to go straight down the stairs to the...griffinpark.org

S107, S108 etc food and bar area needs WAY more staff. I felt sorry for the folk working there as they need more colleagues. I left my seat 5 mins before half time, quick toilet break and just about had time to eat, drink and get back to my seat for 2nd half. The queue when I'd finished was huge and doubt many of those saw much of the first 10 mins 2nd half.

It’s oddly a lower tier block you need to go through the upper concourse to get to so the signage is helpful for finding the upper concourse and being the only W1xx block shown that way it stands out more.
The ”entrance” that would take you into W135?
Also, unmentioned after the whinges last year about the lack of Bees memorabilia on the concourses in the welcome to BCS videos, the place is packed with them now and looks great.

It seemed to me that there were men in suits observing the catering operations, occasionally going to a staff member and asking question or possibly giving recommendations. I really hope this and fans' feedback is under constant review for the next few months so we can get to acceptable levels.
Had my first visit on Friday and I was in the East Stand. Disappointed to see just 3 food options and after seeing the portions decided against parting with £4-5. Not sure why the staples of footy grub like burgers, hot dogs and chips aren’t available at all, seems very odd but hopefully this will change. Also I love samosas but am I right in saying these are only available in the dug out bar?

I wouldn‘t mind paying extra to keep my seat in S106 but have access to the dugout bar before the game and half time. Seriously disappointed with the food options for the kids where we are. Why is there more on offer in the other stands and not in the SE section?

I realise that for many the dissapointment is in the choice - I would certainly like a burger and chips but...what is most important to me is relatively decent quality.
Lets face it, the options are not cheap and I dont particularly like feeling I'm being milked. I don't mind it being 'expensive but good' but 'expensive and bad' is not going to keep me coming back. Maybe I've just been unlucky so far but yet to be impressed.

Grolsch was fine, Peroni Libera on the other hand (was driving so tried an alcohol free) is absolutely foul. And the bar staff were convinced it was £5, when there was a board above their head saying otherwise.
Thought the number of bars (north stand) was impressive and food options decent (it’s stadium food - so I didn’t and won’t ever). Saw someone eating the chicken burger and it looked horrendous.

Leave slightly earlier and eat prior to entering the ground
Did plan to sample the fayre but stuck to my lucky bacon roll and coffee at Clapham Junction en route. Despite it never failing me results wise, the reports so far won’t be making me change this ritual anytime soon

In case anyone from BFC is reading this - We got in 20 minutes before ko and Family section had no water on sale at all, and didn't get any more at half time either. Fizzy drinks only for the kids. Couldn't find any at other nearby FnB areas either. Sure (hope) this'll be fixed for next time.

Ah, thanks. Looking forward to trying this delicacy and the ‘small puddle’ of sauce which is described.
Had one at the Valencia game and it was almost cold....whatever the Texan bbq sauce was meant to be I am not sure. It certainly didn't taste like anything I have ever eaten in Texas or any other part of the world for that matter. Could not be bothered to queue up again to exchange it as I certainly didn't want another one even if it was hot. Binned it....bring back the Brentford pies !!..
Another dissatisfied customer who will not be buying food ever again at BCS.

I have just sent a consumer email (found in contacts) to BFC partner Asahi who supply all our drinks needs including Fullers Pride at the new stadium questioning why Pride is so cold, they obviously had all the pumps and chilling mechanisms installed and set the temperature, Did nobody check that you don't pull up beer that cold, it's no problem for the lager, I wonder if I get a reply?
This is the reply i got back last Friday:

First of all, we are sorry for the delay in coming back to you.
We will be investigating this and will confirm the dispense temperature of the London Pride at the stadium is as per specification. The product is the keg version of Pride and not cask, as such it will be served at a slightly lower temperature, however we would not expect that this causes the experience you had on taste and mouth feel (flat).
We are working on this with Brentford and will come back to you with our findings as we take the quality of our products very seriously and it is great to receive feedback from our consumers so we can look to improve the experience in the stockists that sell our brands (larger or ale).

This is classic teething problems. They will get this right.
I had a few Peronis before the match in the legends lounge which were flat at £6.50 a pint.
Me and my dad shared a fish finger sandwich and a lamb kofta (I think it was) in the concourse. Both were pretty tasty but at around £12 each it seems a bit expensive for football ground food. The third option if I remember correctly was a quinoa dish.

I left at noon, got stuck in traffic from north of Sheffield to Leicester, found my hotel car park full so had to find somewhere in Brentford I could park overnight and didn’t get to the Cricketers until 6.40 by when @Leicester Bee had quite sensibly finished eating after me being an hour and a half later than planned. So I just bought an extra beer to avoid queuing twice and grabbed a shawarma and beer at the ground. It was pretty decent.

Glass half full, I got a pint at half time without missing any football.

That's life in the fast lane, I suppose.
As for food, I'm one of those who would have to be starving to eat at a football ground given the cost and quality (though honourable mention for the monster burgers they do/did at Stevenage).
