I'm at a loss as to where this has gone. I just stated that they only had sugar free soft drinks and reason for not wanting one. Then the London Pride response, which I thought was quite funny. The rest seem odd to me, at no point was I critical of the club or facilities just a preference.

You stated you didn't want to pay for water, and were then infomed that there are water fountains available to you to get free water if you wanted it.

The food at GP was completely awful. There’s a case for adding back some more traditional options but a lot of the new food at BCS is good.

Beg to differ, the cheese and onion pasties were great, very tasty and only two quid iirc

A similar experience with my son and I: 2 Pride's and the second tasted completely different to the first, both too cold and too fizzy as well.

Previous pints on match days, yes very fizzy and cold but yesterday's were both flat and like ditchwater

I have to say very disappointed in the dug out yesterday. The London Pride tasted watered down and over fizzed, even the usually excellent Samosas were not of their usual standard. Seriously considering going back to a pub before the match as I am missing proper draft Pride. I would save money too through not paying the over the top prices.

This is obviously what happens when the North Stand get their hands on our samosas. This has to be stopped immediately and all quality samosas returned to the dugout.

I’ve never felt the need to eat a cheese and onion pasty anywhere. If I really wanted one I’d save queuing and another quid and pick a ginsters up from one of the petrol stations on the way in.

I picked up a BLT from the mini Sainsburys on the walk through the flats parallel to the A4 on the way. Very nice and fresh. To be fair at the ground I have had the Moroccan pie, a chicken Balti pie and a sausage roll, at previous games and all have been fine, even the one pint of Pride I've had behind the North Stand has been OK.

If you are referring to Lager and Pride they can stay safely in their kegs for a considerable time, real ales would be a problem as there life expectancy is 3/4 days once tapped, after that it needs throwing away as, unlike the Lagers, Ciders, Pride etc it’s a living organism

I read with interest the various comments about the standard of drinks and wonder whether we actually have someone in charge of the beers. It is not the easiest of jobs to set things up to provide perfect beer.

Personally I have never found food and drink in football stadium to be particularly palatable and don’t know why people bother. The Beer is not looked after and the staff are pretty much untrained.

We are open every day and all the staff are trained how to look after the cellar and the correct way to pour drinks, taking the necessary time to pour decent pints. At a football ground you have staff who work behind the bar every couple of weeks for minimum wages and generally as a way of earning extra pennies with no experience and in reality not overly bothered apart from serving punters in the shortest possible time!!!

Quite frankly I am surprised that anyone is surprised !!

It was £6 yesterday for a sausage roll yesterday in the legends lounge. Got one for my dad and it was nice tbf but that much for a sausage roll is outrageous

My experience is they pre-pour Grolsch ready for the initial demand post the final whistle that is warm and not great but they pour Peroni on demand which was fine and cold but about a £1 more expensive.

Lamb Shwarma was alright, just alright. Not enough of it for the money.
The telling part is I’ve told myself never again, unless really necessary (ie evening game and haven’t eaten since midday). The other food items don’t appeal, not for that money.

Have every sympathy for the club, having just taken a huge risk in building a new stadium (pre PL outcome being known). They perhaps needed to derisk the catering question by employing a known expert Levy UK, who could immediately gear up to man a whole new stadium. And I believe Levy are good at recruiting staff.

However we, as fans, are entitled to edible food for the £6+ being charged. Griffin Park had great chips, Baltie Pies, Crepes - all of which were excellent value for money. The Levy fare is not value for money. The service is good put the product is not. The success of Samomas Direct should be the example of what future catering at BCS is based on. Thriving independent outlets or pop-ups, which bring some excitement to the concourse. I used to work in Lower Marsh, a pedestrian street in Waterloo, which specialised in these vibrant pop up stalls.

Am sure the club have contractual commitments to Levy Uk, but hopefully these contracts come with rigorous quality standards to adhere to. it is still early days on the food front, but (in my view) the club cannot afford to allow the status quo to carry on much longer.

Am currently away near Bournemouth and had a brilliant Veggie Breakfast for £8. Sausages, eggs, npbeans, hash browns and mushrooms. That’s not possible in a football venue - but surely independent vendors are more likely to provide something that is worth eating.

Maybe you all have been sent a club survey. I said a lot of the above in my response. Now awaiting my 3 year ban !!
