That’s my Coke Zero isn’t it?This is allegedly a pint of London Pride, freshly poured.View attachment 28346
Not that I am a great white wine drinker compared to drinking red but white wine in theory should only be chilled for 1-2 hours before being served but the wine was so cold it really diluted the flavour. As I said I am picky like thatChilled red wine is more of a problem. White wine should be properly chilled. Hope this helps.

Someone else said to me it looks like a big glass of cokeThat’s my Coke Zero isn’t it?
Wow that looks total crap - didn't someone say earlier in the thread they had the "ear" of the drink supplier? This is allegedly a pint of London Pride, freshly poured.
I asked for mine to replaced on saturday (terribly flat) and that was at a different kiosk to the one i purchased it from. no problemsSurely if you're served a bad pint you either insist on a decent replacement or a refund at the point of service - I've never had more than a mouthful of bad beer & certainly never paid for it.
There's a reason that they take money before serving!Surely if you're served a bad pint you either insist on a decent replacement or a refund at the point of service - I've never had more than a mouthful of bad beer & certainly never paid for it.
As the Bishop said to the ActressChrist, that's huge, sorry about that.
If people allow themselves to be treated as mugs then nothing is likely to changeThere's a reason that they take money before serving!
And I suspect that getting a refund would be a very fascinating experience to watch
When I saw the state of the Pride in the West Stand, I opted for a bottle of Carlsberg instead. Not my normal tipple and hardly great, but still the better choice I think. (Also 50p. cheaper than Pride, though only 500ml)Saturday obviously less staff on site so they decided to pre poor drinks for after the game including lager a big no no
As I've alluded to above, I think they need to clean the beer lines more regularly. See this short article for example which sets out why this needs doing every week. When I saw the state of the Pride in the West Stand, I opted for a bottle of Carlsberg instead. Anyhow, I wonder was the quality of the beer/service affected by the fact they were also serving to away fans for the first time this season? Or just coincidence?
...............it really is that easy.............You can’t beat a good old bacon or Sausage sandwich from the Bridge cafe before the game, only £3.10.
I was at Salford City earlier in the season and the local "Sausage King" (or whatever) had a concession in the ground. I had a truly excellent English-style Hot Dog, prepared freshly while you waited, with all the trimmings.Burgers are on offer at almost every venue I can think of, because they are bloody popular. If they provide a good quality burger, then they will sell them quickly and fans have a greater experience, and therefore, confidence in the club.
And I suspect that getting a refund would be a very fascinating experience to watch
Not just the East Stand. And, yes, that was my pointI'd amazed if it was possible in the East Stand, it'd blow their little minds
They've done this for every game as far as I can rememberSaturday obviously less staff on site so they decided to pre poor drinks for after the game including lager a big no no sought it out the dug out bar does need proper staff we are paying for a service which is shoddy to say the least
I would however give more than 5 out of 10 for the “bladder facilities“ at BCS. They are a significant upgrade from Griffin Park ! Very well designed. Queues are lower before and after games, but very long at half time !Packed lunch eaten in the car. My bladder won’t allow me to drink beer and see 90 minutes of football. Therefore my only purchase is, as has been mentioned, a cup of Tetleys tea and good value it is too!
None of the food appeals and it seems the samosas are the only offering getting more than 5 out of 10. The club wants us in the stadium early to spend more money which presumably they benefit from so they need to take heed of the many seemingly legitimate complaints on here.
We paid extra for the Dug Out seats and a bar exclusive to us before the game. You are allowed to use if capacity after the match but given I’ve paid for the privilege I don’t want you making me have to queue for longer before or at half time.Is there anything mentioned anywhere about going into other bars pre-match, half time & after the game to meet friends or buy food as the choice differs depending which bar you go in. The drinks prices seem the same so can't see a problem other than numbers for safety reasons. Tried to go into Dugout an hour before kick off to buy samosas & was told not allowed in as lanyard was for Premium. Been in there every game up till Saturday so want to know if it was over zealous stewards or another new rule.
Not a new rule. All lounges are full, so you can't just turn up where you want.Is there anything mentioned anywhere about going into other bars pre-match, half time & after the game to meet friends or buy food as the choice differs depending which bar you go in. That makes perfect sense, my point was that there was 3 of us & all we wanted to do was buy some samosas & take them back upstairs, we even suggested 1 of us would go & get the food & the other 2 would wait by the door, the steward was not only un-coperative but rude. We're talking an hour before kick off here so cannot see the problem. Not a new rule. All lounges are full, so you can't just turn up where you want.
Access to the dugout is only available AFTER the match and when capacity allows.
Yeah, but they have a job to do. Which isn't to fall for "we will wait here whilst my mate goes somewhere that he isn't supposed to me, honest guv"That makes perfect sense, my point was that there was 3 of us & all we wanted to do was buy some samosas & take them back upstairs, we even suggested 1 of us would go & get the food & the other 2 would wait by the door, the steward was not only un-coperative but rude. What a surprise to get that type of answer from you. !! I agreed with your point but you have to come back with a put down. You really are one aren't you.Yeah, but they have a job to do. Thank-you & I apologise for my curt reply, But those samosa's make you go to desperate lengths !!It wasn't a put down
It was an explanation as to the probably reason that you can't access samosa land. I would happily bring you some out if you want. But hopefully they will make their way to your stand very soon
Chicken Balti pie in the Nprth at HT on Saturday.
Very nice no complaints here.

Wouldn’t hold your breath. Yes the rinse will effect the drink but that will not solve the icy cold Pride that has been reported. The “ heat” of the glass will effect the drink, eg Lager poured into a glass that is not cold and the wrong shape for the beer will result in the drink being flat, and for lager, can have an iron taste.Mailed the club about the crap beer. Someone from the company responsible for food and drink has replied and tells me:
I have traced the issue back to the company that washes the glasses for us (they are taken off-site to a specialist facility). Apparently it is down to a dosing issue of the rinse aid which they use. I have been assured that this is now rectified.
I also want to assure you that we have a strict schedule of line cleaning, which takes place in the 2 days leading up to a match.
Are you related to Ealing Bee?Wouldn’t hold your breath. Yes the rinse will effect the drink but that will not solve the icy cold Pride that has been reported. glad they are line cleaning and I hope they are doing it properly as failure to run enough water through the system after the cleaner will effect the tape.
With regards to the temperature of the drink that is down to the chilling of the system which is probably controlled by outside contractors who perhaps need to adjust the controls. On a multi purpose system that is something that requires expertise, we have tried to adjust ours at the pub which created major problems!!!!!!!
Trust me you are not like him. Thank F lolHope not![]()
It would be nice to be given the option of buying something half decent. The food is rubbish and the drinks are average.. just like most stadiums across the country.
You pay your money and make your choice.
By now we all know the score.
If anyone doesn't like it then don't buy it.
Pretty simple really.
I'm sure all involved are trying their best to sort things out.
Why change the habit of a lifetime? It would be nice to be given the option of buying something half decent.
Had the sausage chips curry sauce in a cob at Merthyr earlier in the season makes up for the crap game.Follow this account for examples of how it could be a lot better (or worse!)

Because The Paddock fans weren’t getting smaller and we need our room but are already half cut before we get to the ground. Ok?In that case why give us a reasonable amount of leg room in the seats? Could have squeezed in an extra few thousand fans![]()
In the Dug Out loos, you queue for the loo, battle your way through to wash your hands,I would however give more than 5 out of 10 for the “bladder facilities“ at BCS.
