Not beef, as bad for environment. Hopefully will have a meeting with Levy v soon.

Possibly around 12 - 14 people may be able to attend and taste the food.

Fair enough. But 17,500 travelling from all round the country isn't great for it either.

Reminds me of a parent complaining about the use of a plastic cup at a meeting about her child flying to Kenya. On the one hand every little helps, on the other...

Are the samoas in the north stand every game from now on.
My guess is that they will be at every game if we the North stand supporters (and others who can access North stand concourse) make sure we buy enough Samosas to make the experiment work. They have to prepare fresh samosas and have staffing costs. For my part, I will now plan to get to the club early enough to be able to buy before the game.

Hi. Thanks for your question.
Sunday is our 3rd game outside the North Stand.
During the 1st game (Leicester) we were beset by connection issues at half time and weren't able to serve everyone in the queue.
Although we fixed these issues for the 2nd game (Norwich), it was much quieter for us. I'm guessing people didn't come to us at half time due to previous issues.
We're hoping we can get the volumes back up for this Sunday as we'll be reviewing the North Stand concession next week.
Note - it's always easier to get served before the game as the half time window does get somewhat chaotic with such a short time window !

Good news. I guess the choice of before or half time might be related to whether the game us day or evening kick off.

I'd absolutely love a AF beer/IPA on tap but I know it's a pipe dream for us drivers. I enjoy a beer at footba but just can't with my drive from Somerset.

Looking through the Footy Scran twitter feed makes me pray that we can give Levy's the old heave ho before too long

Loads of examples of better food at better prices

Loads of examples of some really decent looking food on there including from Championship and (admittedly fewer) PL clubs. There really is no excuse for the bland, overpriced offerings at LR.

I can understand running out of pizza or hot dogs but how can you run out of coffee and hot chocolate? That's terrible, should have absolutely loads of them in stock, not like they're not going to need more for next game.

Had samosas for the first time yesterday. Tasty. Good to see a selection and could have three of any. For me £6 was s bit steep. If it was for and shared then ok. Or make them bigger?

Samosas seemed to run out pretty quickly in the Dugout bar after the game yesterday. Nothing there at all when my hunger pangs kicked in. 🙁

Went down to the Four Corners bar (?) at half time with my lad to get a coffee. Queued up in the amorphous mob of people (three lines? Who knows?) at the single window where it says Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate. Ludicrously, that bit also flogs alcohol (just like the other two huge bars either side does). Clowns doing the usual ‘one bod in the queue ordering 15 pints on behalf of all his mates’ joke. One girl only trying to serve the whole fiasco. Stood in line for 12 minutes and then f***ed off. Never, ever spending a penny on food or drink at the BCS again. Abysmal service and set-up, hard to think how worse they could make it.

But it’s Brentford off-field, so no surprises, no customer focus, and certainly no accountability of senior managers at the club.

East Stand yesterday, walked straight up to get a pint at 2.15, then queued for about 2 minutes at halftime for a lovely (if overpriced) Balti pie and sausage roll.
Staff were lovely and efficient.
5.50 for a pint though - wouldnt pay that down here 🤣

Since the game kicked off at 2pm I find the boast of a zero minute wait time rather curious 😂

We're sorry about that - we weren't sure how the 2pm kickoff would affect numbers so were cautious.
Out of interest, would you ever pre-order so that they're ready for you to collect at half-time ? (or full time ?)

North Stand customer - I would definitely preorder - and like the idea of a full time pickup. Maybe you are only offering full time for Dugout Bar though ?

Yes - I meant half time at North Stand and Dugout Bar and then at full time in the Dugout Bar.
ps - we have takeaway bags there too.

Are you outside the North stand before games and HT? I had a brief "lazy" look.

Settled for a Chicken Balti pie which for the second game running was very nice.

Yes - we've been out there for the 3 last games.
Brilliant i wont have such a "man look" next game. You did put photos up so my ££££ will go your way instead of the pie.

Was in a bit of a rush as well pre match.

Still bringing our own food/drinks in.
I purchased a coffee at the West ham game and it was the hottest one I have ever had.
I couldn't carry it with out burning my hand.
We had the fiasco of closing when my missus went to buy a drink for my 7 year old when the game was 55 minutes old.
They had drinks, but didn't want to sell.
I doubt I would purchase anything from them again.

That pie and mash from Orient looked alright.

I have a mate who used to live in one of the blocks of stadium flats at Brisbane Road. After the "Russell Slade/FA Cup Final" game. he managed to get me into the supporters' bar (their equivalent of The Dugout?).

Anyhow, it was nicely kitted out, comfortable with memorabilia on the walls etc and although I don't remember the nosh, the selection of real ales and other drinks at the bar, plus the pouring and service etc, was truly excellent.

Iirc, it used to win awards from CAMRA, and apparently still does: Leyton Orient Supporters Club wins prestigious CAMRA Golden Award

I don't drink in The Dugout myself, but anyone who does and who doesn't think much of the beer should maybe forward the above link to BFC?

Raised time and time again to have cask ale. It won't happen.

The Guinness served in the West Stand is a bit of funny one, I do like a Guinness but you are never going to get something decent in a plastic pint with staff who don know how to pour one. And to be fair to the staff they dont have time to pour one properly due to the manic queues in short time windows. So what you get is a cloud of something which actually does not really settle. Not sure it was a good idea to put that on tap but hey ho.

I've also not seen hot dogs yet there but didnt check specifically last game. I already sent feedback though the BIAS survey on the rest, why can't we just have good old beef burgers and chips, surely that's what people predominantly want at the football. Mostly spend my money at the local pubs where i can get a (overpriced) but decent burger.

I worked in the Brewery industry for 20 years and know the difficulties in getting cask ale into a bar that is not open everyday.
Obviously wastage is one and temperature the other, but if I could serve draught lager, bitter, cider or Guinness at the correct temperatures, 57'C,then I could keep cask ale.
9 gallon firkins of pride racked bright was how we cheated the process with a pint of magic finings.
I would try 4 in a bar first and take it from there.
Obviously easier said than done, but having done it before I know it can be.
I understand it has been raised before and the answer is no.

Might part of the problem be that Levy have contracts with selected brewers for certain of their lines, so they're not going to deviate from the present bland offerings?

Another factor may be that as far as Levy are concerned, we are just a small customer of theirs, so much less important to them than, say, Spurs or Arsenal? And that's before you consider that with Levy being part of the wider Compass Group, that makes us especially "small beer" (sorry).

Possibly that is why, but hearing comments from beer drinkers regarding the state of some beers being sold at the stadium I feel someone is in charge of this particular area with no knowledge.
I could be wrong of course and that would highly offend the person in charge.
All I am saying is the quality is crap in certain areas it seems.
Someone isn't doing the job right.

No, BFC signed a pouring rights deal with Asahi.

You're likely right.

But what I was getting at is that unless or until we see "angry mobs with pitchforks and flaming torches storming the barricades" etc, it's probably not to change much any time soon. :(

I would be more inclined to say that the mindset is they will drink anything so give them anything. The quality and pride doesn't matter.
Captive audience mentality.
If you have some kegs that have not sold elsewhere then take them to Brentford and get rid of them there.
I would love to see the storage of these beers and what happens between Everton at home and Watford next Friday night.
