The Guinness served in the West Stand is a bit of funny one, I do like a Guinness but you are never going to get something decent in a plastic pint with staff who don know how to pour one. And to be fair to the staff they dont have time to pour one properly due to the manic queues in short time windows. So what you get is a cloud of something which actually does not really settle. Not sure it was a good idea to put that on tap but hey ho.

I've also not seen hot dogs yet there but didnt check specifically last game. I already sent feedback though the BIAS survey on the rest, why can't we just have good old beef burgers and chips, surely that's what people predominantly want at the football. Mostly spend my money at the local pubs where i can get a (overpriced) but decent burger.

@hobbsy, many thanks to Bias, Club and Levy for what sounds like a helpful starter meeting, and for excellent early notes, which give a very good feel to the content and conduct of the meeting.
Some questions/observations:
1. The club is not reported to have said very much, despite their serious level of presence.
2. Is the club going to produce formal minutes and a log of agreed actions?
3. Will BIAS be seeking informal soundings from Club managers (and fan execs) as to how they felt the meeting went, and to propose what next steps should be?
4. Am sure all will agree that having a diary date for a follow up session would be ideal. Momentum is important in these things.
5. Will there be another survey ahead of the hoped-for second meeting?
6. Can fans request a “cook from fresh” option - assume they can. If before the game, waiting time is less of an issue.

Went down to the Four Corners bar (?) at half time with my lad to get a coffee. Queued up in the amorphous mob of people (three lines? Who knows?) at the single window where it says Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate. Ludicrously, that bit also flogs alcohol (just like the other two huge bars either side does). Clowns doing the usual ‘one bod in the queue ordering 15 pints on behalf of all his mates’ joke. One girl only trying to serve the whole fiasco. Stood in line for 12 minutes and then f***ed off. Never, ever spending a penny on food or drink at the BCS again. Abysmal service and set-up, hard to think how worse they could make it.

But it’s Brentford off-field, so no surprises, no customer focus, and certainly no accountability of senior managers at the club.

Spurs also have their own brewey in the stadium, operated by Beavertown, so you'd expect it to be fresh, at least:

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but the Premium Lounges have their usual offer tomorrow if reduced prices before 6.30. Those who take this up will have been encouraged to be in a fairly enclosed/unventilated space for longer than necessary. Doesn’t sound well thought out.

Same argument every home game in the East Stand about the early bird discount. One of the local pubs gets my money from Tuesday onwards, it's a farcical joke.

I was wrong. It’s all a bit sh*t and there’s no way you could leave your seat at the half time whistle, have a tinkle, get a (crap) pint, drink it and be back before the second half kicks off.

Yesterday was the 1st time I've seen the start of the 2nd half this season.

I'm not in the dugout however but I had a drink and used the toilet

Got to the stadium about 7 last night. It was still very quiet and not many people around. Went to get a pie into the west stand and they had none for another 20 mins. Asked what other options they had and was told they only had vegan sausage roll. Ordered one and it was a pasty! It had a V marked on the top so assumed it was a veg option. Started eating it and it tastes exactly the same as a meat version. I'm sure it was meat based so not good for anyone wanting a veg one (I'm not vegetarian so was happy it was meat based). Why 3as there no hot food ready well before the rush?

Aside from the weekly argument over early bird prices (one of the kiosks couldn't get the discount working at all by the sounds of it ) I did spot a chef walking from the away end, through the East Stand towards the South Stand with a tray of extremely handsome looking pasties.

I don’t normally bother with a half time pint due to the hassle of getting one and then drinking it before the restart but gave it a go last night at the 4 corners bar in the South Stand. All was looking promising until the payment machine for the line I was in crashed and we were told that we had to
join one of the other lines, obviously at the back of the line . C’est la vie but it created frustration for those in the queue and why they couldn’t just keep the line and use one of the neighbouring machines was puzzling. However my experience to date has been very positive and pleased I have access to it also they were serving post match for those waiting to get into the dugout which was a great idea

Service very slow at half time, pouring points from cans into cups , person in front of me ordered 4. Surely it would make sense to pour some of each prior to half time.
Not much space in the north stand at HT especially, people trying to walk through 4/5 queues to get past as appose walking along the back or outside concourse.

Staff clueless but teenagers. Don’t mind that, we were all one once, polite enough too, but at least show a bit of urgency when there’s a queue. Nobody seems to be in charge of them. Maybe get the injured players in to serve food and drinks.
No sign of these alleged samosa stands in the north stand either.

In the West Stand, I queued up for two beers. Didn't like the look of the Pride, so asked for two bottles of lager. Server takes a cool one from the chiller cabinet, untwists the cap and hands it to me.

Then he spots another one sitting on a shelf, already opened (God knows how long) and hands me it as well.

Guess which one my mate got?
