I had the beef brisket burger yesterday.
Superb
Mrs OB made one of her rare football trips and I was able to treat her to the crisps and salad while I had the burger … which was nice.

Whatever time I arrive at the ground there is a lack of selection of food. I probably buy food in the ground at 50% of games, I think I’ve done it a couple of times this season with any success, but the Samosa company is more efficient and offers better products that the Premier League football club. The last 3 times I’ve tried to buy food they have had more staff in the kiosk than food items available!
Working it out I would say over a season the club will probably lose out on £70 I would have spent on food and drink due to poor organisation. Times that by 16,000-17,000 people (an exaggeration perhaps) the club is potentially losing up to £1,000,000 in annual revenue because they can’t organise a catering outlet…

They have to buy the raw materials so it’s not pure profit on 70 quid.

Vegan Pasty yesterday, if you want to compare it to a cheap poor quality meat and potato pasty then I think they nailed it.
For £4.95 I expected something with a bit of flavour and texture. It was better than the precisely offered vegan Sausage Roll but no where near the quality of the Moroccan Pie.

For vegetarians, it's passable in a sort of "I'm hungry and there's nothing else here for me" kind of way but I'd rather have some halloumi wraps for veggies in addition to the vegan option and I don't see why we can't have that too. Or samosas? I know they're in the North Stand but I'm West so I assume not accessible? The Moroccan pie is the dog's.

You can access pre-match but not at HT I believe - just wander around the NW corner before the game as they are located outside the ground.

The samosa stand is between the North Stand concourse and the railway behind albeit in the outside smokers area - so you have to enter through the North Stand turnstiles first

Hmm I was told I could get to the kiosk even as a West Stand ST holder - is that not the case? I know at HT you can't but I thought it was accessible before the game?

Yes actually, if you're inside the ground, you can walk around the NW corner into the North Stand via the seat rows, but not the concourses. Easier said than done though if not attempted early doors before the crowd get in and the seats/rows fill up.

I’ve had the chicken balti pie a couple of times and it’s the only thing I have bought more than once. Everything else has been dross.

They are in the outside concourse by N123. They are not inside. Think @SamosasDirect need to come up with a clearer map than the one on this thread (I’m afraid it’s not clear enough) or be allowed to put up some signage.

Hi, We're set up 2 hours before each kick off and are there until after half time when we take everything down and continue in the North Stand.
We hope to have additional signage in place at the North Stand location v soon.

We're looking at some additional signage for the area.
As a guide, if you have access to the North Stand, go outside through the doors/shutters and we're there.
If you look at the image below - we are situated where our logo is - outside sections N123 and N124

At GP, atleast 6of us used to have 2 pints pre match in the hive and 1-2 at half time. With the state of the beer in the new ground, we now all refuse to purchase it. Speaking with others we are not the only group. A lot of the lost revenue over a season.
Brighton away may of been poor on the pitch. But the beer and food was a fine example.

It's always the common people who end up saving the world.
Arrived at 1.30 on Sunday all that was on offer was a lukewarm chicken burger in a cold bun with cold onions (I think that’s what they were). Tasted dreadful both, burgers discarded. Shame as that puts me off leaving my food purchasing until inside the stadium.
