Reading the link, I'd suggest he's lucky not to have had a good few kickings and a prison stretch for fraud/theft as well ?Richard Rufus (ex-Charlton) declared bankrupt for 15 years:

Believe that a fraud case is underway (unsurprisingly). A quick google shows that he hasn't turned-up to court as only God can judge himReading the link, I'd suggest he's lucky not to have had a good few kickings and a prison stretch for fraud/theft as well ?

It doesn't say that he has actually done anything? The old thread about footballers going to jail seems to have been closed so this needs a new home

:looks:It doesn't say that he has actually done anything?
Questioned s he knows some people although not involved or something. Seems like a typical newspaper trying to use his name to build up a story before saying actually its not even him.
I have bad news for him. God has appointed the judge overseeing the case as his agent on earthBelieve that a fraud case is underway (unsurprisingly). A quick google shows that he hasn't turned-up to court as only God can judge him
What is it with OUFC and rehabilitating offenders?Courtney Meppen-Walter on trial with Oldham.
Mind your vowel usage! What is it with OUFC and rehabilitating offenders?
Oops no idea why I put U in there.:blushMind your vowel usage!
Barry Owen. Director. Former Chief Superintendent. Bee on his bonnet (no offence).
Given the age of this lad at the time of his offence, and his action in the aftermath, I'm a little more sympathetic this time around.
After the fiasco with the suites in the new stand and reading some of O5U's posts I think that is a necessity at the momentAnd nothing to do with them looking for players in the cheap ........
.....sorry ibrox......i hear harry forrester may be heading to the den.
Hes had a medical there already.....sorry ibrox.
............has he passed it................Hes had a medical there already
When has any thread stuck to its original topic?Just out of curiosity how did this thread go from players having scrapes with the law to a player with a dubious fitness record who may be signing for Rangers?
You lot love to moanWhen has any thread stuck to its original topic?![]()
I think he was taken off on Boxing Day at half time-due to illness wasn't he ?Anyone see James Wilson BHA puke up on the pitch last night whilst warming up for the game, either he ate something dodgy or if you look at his eyes, they looked like he'd been having a good NYE! :yuck:
If he did go out on the lash, how unprofessional and I bet CH would not have been happy!
JB...rofl
Yeah at half time. Not sure if playing him when he had a ropey stomach on new years day was a good idea.I think he was taken off on Boxing Day at half time-due to illness wasn't he ?
Wow, nawty. He was always a decent Championship Manager signing from West Ham as a youngster.izzy iriekpen once of Swansea jailed for 3 1/2 years for glassing a bouncer
Abit like tomlin probably could of had a much better career if he could of stayed off the pie and mash. Probably now letting his hair down knowing his career has passed him by. Must have a decent looking bank account though!

Since when does having pictures taken of you make your job impossible. Atleast the judge didnt let him get away with a fineLeicester City's Danny Simpson was convicted of assaulting his ex-girlfriend and will no longer have to complete unpaid work due to press intrusion. He denied strangling the mother of his child but was convicted last May. However, the 29-year-old's lawyer complained that journalists had found where he was carrying out his community service, making it impossible. A judge revoked the sentence and ruled he should serve a curfew instead.

Seems like a reasonable punishment to be fair. The judge also refused to defer which means he could miss the end of season parades, jollies and trip to Thailand....Leicester City's Danny Simpson was convicted of assaulting his ex-girlfriend and will no longer have to complete unpaid work due to press intrusion.
