I thought we had some pretty decent spells to be honest, particularly first half. Sure, we were careless second half but good subs by TF and some nice fluency on the break saw us through. Pleased with that!!

There’s it too many games where you can get so untidy and get away with it but that’s one of them. I think we’ll see that more and more as this season goes on. We just need to be least sloppy and take the chances.

Good win in the end but we need to be at it even if it seems like an easy game. After going ahead early we were soooo sloppy on the ball. Jensen the main offender, particularly in the second half, but Dalsgaard was also having a bit of a stinker. Got lucky with their goal being disallowed and then bringing on DaSilva and Canos for Jensen and Fosu enabled us to set up better and we defended really well after that, getting back into shape quickly and pouncing twice on the counter. Knockaert should have been off earlier for his kick on Janelt in the box so glad to see him get the red at the end. Disappointing to let a goal in after Janelt gave away a soft free kick but happy with the 3 points even thoug again we didn't really hit the heights. Get Sergi and Josh back in for Jensen and Fosu next week and we should look a lot better.

It’s all about rotation and grinding out results. Last Saturday we got it wrong, today it worked out fine.

First half thought we'd run away with it but then it almost became too easy and we got sloppy, 2nd Houghton made some good changes and they looked better but we reacted with the right subs and picked them off on the break. A good professional away performance for me.
Janelt superb once again, also Sorensen was excellent and his emergence this season has been nearly as important as Janelt's for me, I don't worry when I see his name on the team sheet. Thought Bryan looked to be getting his confidence back as well today which was nice to see. 2 massive games this week but we're 11 unbeaten (I think it is now) and think we can go into the games with some confidence.

I do. If I was a Forest fan I'd feel very hard done by. A very sweet 3 points, but a tough watch for long periods...
End of the day we’re not as good as last season we’re feeling the effects of back to back games we’ve had some frustrating draws but we’re still top 6. We need to live with it and hope for some astute signings in January. What will be will be

A game where we played well at times especially the first 30 minutes. Two fantastic saves by their goalkeeper kept them in the game. In the 2nd half Forest had a bit more about them and at times our passing became sloppy adding to the pressure. Good to see Josh get his goal and a rather strange one for Toney.

I thought we dominated the first half, even after the first goal. They came into it a bit but not much. We were pretty fluent throughout the half, with some much better, quicker passing and movement than of late. We were careless for the first 25 of the second, but then took control for the last 15 or so. So, a decent performance for much more than 70 per cent of the game for me.Up to our goal in first half and during our goals towards the end, we were ok. Apart from that, very poor. 70% of the game.

Yes - the difference is it's all about a bit of luck and taking your chances. For 30 minutes of the 2nd half today it was as bad (worse?) than Derby. Yet, we couldn't take the few chances we had against Derby, but took them today after the substitutions. First half was better, but there generally hasn't been a 'complete' performance for a fair while now. Says even more than we have been unbeaten in 11, but the games coming up are going to be our biggest test yet this season. 3 points is 3 points, but those above us seem to be finding a bit of form now.

do not think he is - NF were the better team for 25 minutes and had their equaliser not been ruled out I dread to think what would have happened after If it had gone to 1-1

We dodged a bullet not signing him.when i heard we were close i thought feck i hope we do not sign him. no sell on value, and a ridiculous asking price, he has well passed his peak. Back to the game, only watched the sky show,another great away win, any win away in this league is good. Hope form needs to improve for us to have a chance. For me we are not playing well but are up there in the league. Keep going bees.

First half we looked strong. On another day the ref doesn't give the offside and does give a penalty for Knockart and we end up drawing 3-3. That would have been hard to take. Forest do seem to be a horrible club. Knockart should have gone earlier for his kick out at Janelt. Samba his usual pleasant self, though he did less time wasting today. No.5 seemed ready to assault anyone but I don't he even got a yellow. Take the win though we made hard work of it and just don't look fluid and consistent yet.

Really? While they did improve 2nd half (hard not to after how sh*t they were 1st half) they didn't really threaten us, we defended well and picked them off. It's not as pretty as we've become used to but it is damn effective - especially away from home.

Offside goal aside what did Raya have to do? Samba had to make better saves than Raya did. It was uncomfortable in spells but it's not like they tore us apart and we got a lucky win is it?

We’ve played well before and lost the game. Started well, drifted out, Forest took over for about half hour or so and then we found our way again.
Jensen has a bad game by his standards, Mbeumo fairly invisible apart from his effort. Dasilva well and truly making up for his two efforts against Derby.
Forest under Hughton will be tough to be beat this season, and sometimes it’s the gritty wins that set off a good run of form so let’s hope for the best

Too many on here still looking at every performance through the lens of last year's team I think. We are not that team and this is a very different season.
Sure, there were on show again today some of frustrating aspects we have seen this season (particularly the carelessness at the start of the second half), but there were also some very promising signs of greater fluency and incisiveness on the break.
Were we Bees vintage 2019/20, no? But, get over it, we are hanging on in there, and are still a team capable of beating any team in this division.

Sorry don't want to take gloss of a win but Sorenson worries me, he allows forwards to get the wrong side of him & he isn't the quickest, accept he's young but does lack confidence coming forward & invariably turns back to Raya. I understand rotation but worry that on tuesday we need Pontus back against the likes of Deeney.
