If he keeps giving the ball away, it'll be Frank the Shank.Deserved to be pulled off after 45 not 55.
Every time he gets the ball he gets out muscled and is far too easy to play against.
I would drop the Frank the Tank moniker unless of course it is in recognition of a Thomas the tank character I have yet to read about.
I meant sh*tCalled up to the Nigeria squad for AFCON
and our huge squad loses a player for three /four weeks .Wonderful news :-(Excellent, this will boost his confidence
But he'll come back a more effective player. Try and look on the bright side of life, de dum; de dum, de dum, de dum.and our huge squad loses a player for three /four weeks .Wonderful news :-(
changed it a bitBut he'll come back a an injured player. Try and look on the bright side of life, de dum; de dum, de dum, de dum.
changed it a bit
It's not like he's starting. Would be happy for Bidstrup to get a chance to take his place on the bench.and our huge squad loses a player for three /four weeks .Wonderful news :-(
We knew this when we signed him though.and our huge squad loses a player for three /four weeks .Wonderful news :-(
We paid a fair amount of money for him too. Strange for us to get it soooo wrong? I mean, yes, he's got the 'athleticism' but basic technique is lacking. No doubt it will be the Jensen thread that will light up bright again tonight (and on social media too) but there is much more reason for this one to do so.
I think that applies to all our players. They seem shocked to be closed down, don’t protect the ball when they win it, and don’t release the ball early enough. Norgaard tonight was the worst, in my view.He looks surprised every time he gets the ball. And then even more surprised when the oppo close him down.
Rabbit caught in headlights when he has the ball. A PL Eddie Hutchinson. We paid a fair amount of money for him too. Strange for us to get it soooo wrong? I mean, yes, he's got the 'athleticism' but basic technique is lacking.
People thought that about Muapay when he first played for us. He didn’t turn out too bad. Give the guy a season with us to progress FFS !!Rabbit caught in headlights when he has the ball. A PL Eddie Hutchinson.
Much more reason? He came on at 2-0 down, the damage was done. He wasn’t good today, but we were much better second half, can hardly blame someone for a 2-0 loss when we were 2-0 down when they came on.No doubt it will be the Jensen thread that will light up bright again tonight (and on social media too) but there is much more reason for this one to do so.
Yep, but you could say the same of much of the team since October.Needs to be better on the ball.
He was absolute pony, to be fair…Much more reason? He came on at 2-0 down, the damage was done. He wasn’t good today, but we were much better second half, can hardly blame someone for a 2-0 loss when we were 2-0 down when they came on.

Strange that it’s a turd of an opinion to mention Jensen’s latest nothing performance but happily mug off DTT, imo both have disappointed this season but one has been here 6 months and the other one 2.5 years. I know which one deserves a bit more time before totally binning him but it hasn’t been a good start.Rabbit caught in headlights when he has the ball. A PL Eddie Hutchinson.
He was poor, but we were a better team with him on the pitch. He was absolute pony, to be fair…

Obviously, but to pin the blame for a 2-0 loss on a player who wasn’t even on the pitch when we conceded 2 is just stretching.Correlation is not causation!
This is what I’m thinking. I have £10m in my head is that right ? We would have had the inside from FCM also . Did we compete with anyone for his services ? There is always the one season adjustment factor , but I see a lot less know how than say the “general” for insistance. We paid a fair amount of money for him too. Balancing out the turd of opinions on our team. Frank was no better than Jensen yesterday and Jensen was no better than Frank. But the abuse on Jensen thread is OTT. The whole team was turd. Frank was better than Jensen yesterday for me. You seemed to get ridiculously offended re Jensen IIRC.Balancing out the turd of opinions on our team. Assume Onyeka will be the only player called up for the African Cup of Nations in January. If this is the case, then I don't think he will be too great a loss.
Not offended just don't agree with scapegoating a single player for a whole team performance that was a shambles. And I never said Frank weakened just no better than Jensen or any other player yesterday. Everyone looked better second half because Brighton sat back for last 30minutes.Frank was better than Jensen yesterday for me. You seemed to get ridiculously offended re Jensen IIRC.
I didn't think Frank was too bad last night ironically, he drove us forward when he got the opportunity. It's always difficult coming on when we're 2-0 down but I don't think he weakened the team by any stretch when he came on. He's certainly rusty but we signed him for 10mill for a reason and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see him become an important player for us next season.
The whole team was ponyHe was absolute pony, to be fair…
He was better than Jensen, and Jensen was part of the team that bad us 2-0 down, Frank wasn’t.I didn't blame him for the loss; I said if Jensen was getting criticism he should as well.
The key word there was COULD. The article simply looked at African players in Premier League squads. Doesn't mean every player will be selected by his country.report says 3 The full list of Premier League players who could miss fixtures if Afcon goes ahead
Brentford
- Julian Jeanvier (Guinea)
- Frank Onyeka (Nigeria)
- Tariqe Fosu-Henry (Ghana)
