Didn’t ever seem to be quite in the right position defensively and didn’t move the ball at the right time, going off into some blind alleys, when in possession. His touches always seem to then lead to him stretching to get a pass away.
Shandon showed him what a proper first touch looked like when he came on and seems so much closer to what we need in that position.

Not a fan at tye moment. Way off right now, which is a huge disappointment.
He was a big signing for us and wasn't cheap. I certainly won't be writing him off just yet

Yet to impress me I’m afraid. He needs to make more of a contribution in games to justify the not insignificant fee we paid for him.He get’s around the pitch alright but there is a lack of quality in what he does .

Someone needs to have a word with Frank as he was encroaching a metre into the area on Bryan's penalty, on another day it may have had to be retaken.

I thought he gave us added energy and made a positive difference at a time when it was in danger of going flat. He isn’t a starter yet for me when everyone got and on song but he is adapting to Prem football and there is an athlete and player in there.

I think that applies to all our players. They seem shocked to be closed down, don’t protect the ball when they win it, and don’t release the ball early enough. Norgaard tonight was the worst, in my view.

It is the technique isn’t it, he hasn’t got good enough ability to play through midfield. Certainly has attributes and won’t be the first player to struggle with their opening season in the PL.

Much more reason? He came on at 2-0 down, the damage was done. He wasn’t good today, but we were much better second half, can hardly blame someone for a 2-0 loss when we were 2-0 down when they came on.

I am not just talking about his performance tonight. There is physicality there, no doubt, but technically he looks a long way off the quality we require and I am not sure that improves the longer a player stays.
Based on what we have seen so far I honestly don't think he brings very much more to the team than Jensen but its the latter who always get the brickbats, hence my post.

Strange that it’s a turd of an opinion to mention Jensen’s latest nothing performance but happily mug off DTT, imo both have disappointed this season but one has been here 6 months and the other one 2.5 years. I know which one deserves a bit more time before totally binning him but it hasn’t been a good start.
He was poor, but we were a better team with him on the pitch.

This is what I’m thinking. I have £10m in my head is that right ? We would have had the inside from FCM also . Did we compete with anyone for his services ? There is always the one season adjustment factor , but I see a lot less know how than say the “general” for insistance.

Balancing out the turd of opinions on our team. Frank was no better than Jensen yesterday and Jensen was no better than Frank. But the abuse on Jensen thread is OTT. The whole team was turd. Even Norgaard put in a performance that was turd.

Frank was better than Jensen yesterday for me. You seemed to get ridiculously offended re Jensen IIRC.
I didn't think Frank was too bad last night ironically, he drove us forward when he got the opportunity. It's always difficult coming on when we're 2-0 down but I don't think he weakened the team by any stretch when he came on. He's certainly rusty but we signed him for 10mill for a reason and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see him become an important player for us next season.

Not offended just don't agree with scapegoating a single player for a whole team performance that was a shambles. And I never said Frank weakened just no better than Jensen or any other player yesterday. Everyone looked better second half because Brighton sat back for last 30minutes.

Whatever Onyeka's limitations, I'd rather see him on the team sheet than Jensen, who can look great against poor teams but doesn't have the physicality or dynamism for this league.
