Looks like Barnsley have found a game plan and are sticking to it.

Very even game, could go either way.

One thing is for sure, after recent performances I am now a full member of the David Raya fan club!

We have created several chances, oli flick brings a good save, another good save from jeanvier, Watkins on the six yard box can’t control, said curler, canos runs through the middle of 5 of them but doesn’t pull trigger quick enough, a couple of great crosses from da Silva and another couple of headers from corners.

sh*tty have dragged us into a scrappy game and forced a couple of mistakes we were lucky to get away with. As the game has gone on we have got slower at coming out from the back and it has gone a bit stale. Half time was needed.

0-0 HT

We haven’t played particularly well. We’ve had a lot of the ball in our own half but haven’t really created much. Starting to do long channel balls which isn’t a good sign.

Said the most dangerous.

Everyone else a bit meh.
We have created 5-6 decent chances, read my report above???

You must be watching a different game to me lol. Haven’t had a clear cut chance IMO. Few half chances but nothing to indicate we deserve a goal.

In fact Bristol City have had the best chance

Watching on i-follow from Oz, on my phone so can’t do updates during game as have to turn off coverage to post!
We’ve huffed and puffed and had the odd half chance but Bristol City are a different proposition to Barnsley and look well organised and break with pace and have caught us out once or twice.
Sergi really impressive for me, Norgaard effective if unspectacular. Said being double man marked all game but occasionally getting a chance to run. The rest all doing fine, JDS gone quiet second period of half.
It’s gonna take some individual brilliance or someone to capitalise on an error to win this game. Kinda looks like we’d benefit by going 5-3-2 to give us the true width and hopefully create some real openings for Ollie who is being largely subdued

What about oli’s Back heel from the comer cleared off the line, jeanvier point blank shot saved by bentley, the ball across to Watkins who can’t control on the six yard box, canos burst clean through and doesn’t pull the trigger and gets tackled on the penalty spot, said’s Curler that goes just wide.

We are at griffin park tonight, check your sat nav😉

I imagine we might see Karelis a bit sooner than Sunday if it remains all square, some good options off the bench to change things

It wasn’t cleared off the line. The defender cleared it from the 6 yard line lol

You mention two good saves that I don't recall seeing.
Both from corners. Oli back heels at the near post, Braemar road thinks it’s in butbis cleared off the line, another corner and jeanvier goes in and Bentley smothers 1 yard out.

Are you guys in the Ealing road.

Could argue Canos had a clear cut chance but just didn’t shoot quick enough. I don’t think we’ve created much and are missing Jensens creativity.

They are not what I would call clear cut chances though, more like sniffs at goal. Bentley not had to make a decent save.
I think we should switch to 5-3-2, give us that true dimension of width and I think we’d see Ollie get in behind them a bit more. Otherwise I can’t see anything other than a 0-0 or even a narrow 1-0 loss if we make any more sloppy errors

Bristol City have two good chances. First one didn’t fall to anyone in the six yard box (good defending I’d say) second one through ball the player just couldn’t get the touch.

Take it short and concede a foul 5 yards from the corner flag. I hate short corners. They never come good

We’ve had 9 corners so far. (Yes Wibs!)
Roll on the arrival of the new set piece coach, we might be able to get vaguely excited by a corner again

Kind of like his stunner against millwall, thats what he brings to the team, a goal threat from outside the box. To be fair we needed a bit of magic because the usual didnt seem to be working...

Didn’t close da Silva down quick enough. Great finish!

Need to concentrate now, feels like we’re playing at 75% still.
