A few changes!

Mepham, Kamo & Barbet subs

Yennaris in, Bjelland in, Clarke in, Canos in.

No Judge, as we knew.

No Flojo worrying. Hopefully back for next game with Woodsy. COYR's, no less than a convincing win tonight please.

sorry I must have missed it. What's wrong with Judge?

No idea. People that follow his Instagram account realised he wasn’t in Nottingham.

Can’t believe Meps isn’t playing. No doubt keeping him for the weekend but not a decision I would have made. The weekend means a lot less without 3 points today

A lot of tired legs I think and Judge needs to be carefully monitored.

If it’s tactical it’s crazy. Bjelland and Mepham have proved themselves the best pairing and their footballing ability helps the way we want to play.

Unless he’s still feeling the effects of the bang he got on Saturday it’s an absolutely mad decision to drop him.

I think Mepham is unlucky to be dropped but it's a lot of games coming up and I also guess that Bjelland and Egan are the senior players so should play first.

We need to win tonight or there is no chance at all of play offs. Forest are hard to beat under Karanka so I get Clarke starting at LB for his pace.

Mokotjo had a shocker on Saturday and it was like the ball was a hot potato so he's right to be dropped. Hopefully Woodsy will come straight back into the team against Fulscum as we will need to have all our best players to get a point at best.

I'd rather play a better player than a senior player but can't argue with the rest of your post.

Meps and Bjelland are the best pair by a mile. ....surely if Mepham got a knock he'd be no good for the bench either esp as we have Barbet there. ....very odd decision. .....

Mepham may have been left out but ffs it doesn't mean he's been dropped! It may be tactical, more likely he's still sore after getting injured on Saturday, when it looked fir a while that he would have to go off.

Leave it to Dean. Meps got a cruncher on Saturday - save him for next Saturday. That team looks pretty good to me even without the 'superstars' .Also Andreas has to play some games to be fair to him. World Cup beckons and it's not often you can say that about a Bees player let alone 2 maybe even 3!!!!!

Yes, Mepham has possession of the jersey, which is how it usually works with us these days. So, he's either rested through fatigue, or labouring with the knock he took on Saturday. Not usual to rest a centre back in my opinion, so I'm guessing the latter.

That's my guess. Plus with Judge out injured along with Flo, and Woods suspended, if no Meps on bench you're picking an inexperienced B teamer as sub.

We do have a much stronger squad these days. Whilst I am not aware of the players current fitness levels like the management team, I am glad that we have got some fresh legs in the team tonight. At this stage of the season, as a lot of Premiership team regularly use the squads, I think it can only be of benefit to the overall team,

It was quite bad, and even then I thought it would be enough for him to be rested tonight, especially as AB was back from injury.

Egan was excellent on Saturday as of course was Meps. I sure DS knows what he's doing.

Not arguing Burford. DS is paid to make these decisions and he know the readiness of his players much more than any of us.

Agree with posters re Mepham. Just resting I assume. And Clarke is not a LB, he had a mare against Sheffield Utd. Good to Bjelland back however.

Egan has been brilliant in Bjellands absence. I think we need to look after Mepham as well. But what a joy to have three very good CBs on our books

Strange decision for Judge to go from starting 11 to out of the 18,unless he has a knock.

Interestingly, Hyam not in the starting line up for Ipswich tonight. makes Saturday decision all the more strange from MM.

I questioned the wisdom of starting Mepham at Norwich away way back in December,so I think I’ll leave it to Deano this time!

Come on Bees!:sorted:
