Yeah but similar sized clubs like Wigan stood all game.
Really mate, you still here chipping away?

You must be thick as cowshit. We are mid table, completely safe, nothing to play for and with our pony away form quite frankly bored with the whole season. Today was like a cup final for you, we usually play you off the park like you are a Sunday morning team, today we turned up bored and half hearted and all you can do is go on about how much noise our bored fans make.

Reading are hardly the most enthusiast crowd ever, ok so you ejaculated today because you finally beat a non interested Brentford side but give it rest mate. Our players and fans are on the fekking beach you half-wit, just because today was a big game for you don’t think it was for us you moron. Must be past your bedtime now.

Frank says post match he knows the away form is a concern and it would help if we don’t keep conceding in the first few minutes.

In reality the rest of the season is done, The last few always have been painful. Wigan Away slow and turgid, They were so poor we got away with a nil nil, Swansea gave us the run around and put us out the game in the first 45, today 2 down after 15 before we even strung 3 passes together.

Apart from Boro, since Xmas we have had no shows at Forest, Sheff Wed and hustled off our game by Swansea and Sheff U.

Today, Frank look tired at the press conference and a bit of loss why we can’t perform away. Teams have sussed us away - high press on the back 3 and mistakes will happen. Reading and both Swansea played 3 up and target Sorensen, it’s cruel but true. Meite, Oliveira and Barrow were like a gang not 5 yards from each other standing by Sorensen when the ball was up the other end, Dalsgaard had nobody his side and Konza look bemused for the first 15.

It was a tactic that worked for manager Gomes as it did for Potter at Swansea, the smarter managers have caught on, if Plan B is to perform Plan A better then we have failed away from home. Sawyers and Da Silva never picked up the runs by Barrow and Oliveira dropping deeper just gave the space whilst our back 3 thought do we stick or twist.

Meite with two smart finishes one from a through ball between Jeanvier and Sorensen and the second when Sawyers failed to pick him up from a standing start with only Maupay’s smart header from a fumbled Benrahma freekick kept us in the game.

Maupay is a shining light - bottle his will to win and you have character, his frustration at his team mates were there for all to see. Reading weren’t fantastic but I couldn’t disagree with Franks comment they deserved to win, they wanted and needed the win, our players wanted warmer climes and some sun and sand than a chilly Mad Stad.

When we are good the football is just a joy, when we are bad we look like we could concede for fun. 14th is about right for this side this season. We are the good bad and ugly this season. I’d imagine a lot of ins and outs over the summer as Frank really puts his marker down. When we play Reading next season it will be interesting to see how many names will be still on the team sheet.

Championship football six seasons running that’s good enough for me and most but let’s not dress today up - it wasn’t good and following the aways this season the errors seem to be on loop more often. Off to the Den on Friday and if Brentford show like they did today, let’s not kid ourselves they will get a wallop. Millwall is always a good Away to go to, let’s see if the players agree.
I wish I could write like this but agree 100%

Not playing well, but not as bad as against Swansea etc. Dasilva and Bech Sorensen don't look good enough on this showing. I don't think it's impossible for us to get something out of this as there are glimpses of Reading weaknesses, but we've got to tighten up at the back and in midfield. Bees supporters starting to turn against the team. Shouts of "Where's the money Benham?". Hopefully that's ironic
I'm sure the shouts of "where's the Szczesny money and where's the Alan Kernhagan money?" were ironic and in jestful reply to (non ironic) comments of a similar nature that have been floating about recently...

I am perfectly calm, but I really don’t have the interest to read all your previous posts. Our season ended three 6-7 weeks ago, just wrap up fella.

That was a fishing trip to be fair. You're a more traditional club than theirs.

I stil see them as a lower league / non league club
Maybe that's an age thing then. They've always been in the top 3 leagues bar two years since I was born. Doesn't excuse staff behaviour either way.

Yeah but clubs like ours. See how long both have been in the football league. Then see them.

Also, you can't help what individual spastics want to bring into a ground. Did you see the wolves fan in the full wrestling kit or the Brighton fan dressed as an actual seagull Ffs haha
That's very insulting.

He was pretty selfish towards his team mates in not channeling his anger correctly. This is one of the reasons why he isn’t starting each game. Amazing how we give these badge kissers so much latitude.
"Badge kissers so much latitude?" Interesting choice of language. Criticise him for losing his rag & I can see your point but criticise a player for being passionate & having a rapport with the fans...sorry don't understand your mentality at all.

I have no idea why the moderators on this website did not kick this fella into touch from the off. It was clear he was on a piss taking mission.
What’s even stranger is just how many have bitten the bait. This thread reads like a bunch of 12 year olds arguing whose Dad is bigger.

Ignore him and he’ll get bored and piss off, it really is that simple.

Because I went to bed after the match finished. He won't be boring us again. But there was a lot of troll-feeding going on.

I've also tidied up all the stuff that was off-topic, because some (not all) of it was out-of-order.
