2,500 to Hamburg for the Uefa Semi according to 5 live just now.

A staggering amount, well done Fulham almost as many as we took to Leeds for a run of the mill League 1 fixture. rofl

If you are talking about my statement I made I probably wrote it wrong I meant it is a disgrace that they are in the semi final of a european competition and still cant sell out. I probably wrote it wrong.

Jesus Christ you lot are a bunch of idiots, I'm sure there would be more going if it wasn't for this situation. I'm suppose to be going via plane but that looks highly unlikely now, tickets aren't gonna sell too well when it's gonna be a struggle to get there, good chance the games gonna be called off.

Train?
Ferry?
Drive?

Do you know how hard it is to get a ferry or a train at the moment or are you just that stupid. People work you muppet so it'll be hard for alot of people to be able to drive there. It'll most likely be called off anyway. God you brentford fans seem to think you're the best fans in the land or something.

Your statement would have more credibility and would actually be worthy of a rofl at Fulham if we regularly took 2500 to away matches......
We took 2500 away once this season, so I can't really understand how we can use that against Fulham... comparing our average away attendance to their average away attendance is surely more logical

If our average is better than their average then I will be happy :sorted:

Is a Uefa Cup Semi final pretty much the same as a League 1 Fixture then yeah?

How many do you reckon we'd take to a Uefa Cup semi in a quality city like Hamburg?

Personally I would have been on the phone to the ferry operator the day after the last round.

Hamburg by ferry is

a) cheap
b) 18 hours drinking on the way
c) 18 hours drinking on the way back

The situation you refer to has existed for just under a week, you have known you would be in this game for slightly longer

QPR supporter here.

Fair play for that brilliant 28 pager on Fulhams away support, shame it got closed but this one seems like a continuation of it. In my eyes there can be no doubt about the size of the West London clubs.

Chelsea
QPR
Fulham/Brentford on the same level.

Great to get some numbers on their away support as I went to the Fulham/Juve game and got a programme. Surprise surprise they did not publish their away figures like all the other 91 clubs in the Football League.

Some of the excuses are great.

''Its very expensive, we cant afford it'' - last time I checked the people who turn up to away games aren't multi-millionaires.

''We're very bad on the road, we hardly ever win'' - firstly which came first the chicken or the egg. Maybe if there were more away fans it would inspire the side. And anyway I think most fans (I certainly don't) travel to an away game expecting a result or only go cause we have a chance of winning. The away experience is not about that, it's about discovering a new town, having a piss up on the train etc.

Fulham traditionally had very bad support and their away support will always be like this because the vast majority of cottage crowds are drawn up of Japanese tourists (saw a big group of them against Juve), who no lie whipped out their Nintendo DS's about 10mins into the game as they were getting bored. Also saw a 2 for 1 ticket offer for the match against Stoke.

QPRs home attendances haven't been the best this season (about 13,000) with as low as 10,000 and as high as 17,000 at Loftus. However at least these are all genuine fans, and our away support reflects this. About 500 to Blackpool but 2,000 to Doncaster.

Fair play to Brentford always liked you lot you're a genuine decent club hope to play you soon.

Yeah been to Griffin Park twice this season. Love the terrace. Went to the Norwich game where I had to hide my dissapointment checking my phone and discovering we were losing at Bristol City. Then went on the international break when you played Millwall which was a cracking game, made even more entertaining by the gale force winds!

Also got a friend who's a Leeds fan and was shocked to discover in one of his programmes that you lot took 2,500 up there! Fair play.

Barca take nothing away.

Its not just them though its the whole culture in Spain it just doesn't happen, they just go down the boozers to watch it. Barca took 200 to Real Madrid. Sounds like Fulham.

I think most of the Leeds fans were either shocked or p!ssed off:D
Fulham can come up with all the excuses in the world, but the fact is, their away support is shocking. Rangers can draw large numbers when it matters,
Brentford have a regular 500 but we love to go to the big clubs and take the p!ss. We are the unknown, which suits us, unfortunately we haven't had too much to sing about during the last 50 years but our time will come:sorted:

Agreed, 8,000 to Sheff Wed for promtion, say no more! Can't wait for Hodgson to get snapped up by Man U or someone, then Fulham will spiral back to their true position and put some of their fans in their place!

I meant more in terms of our style of play and the fact that were both owned by the supporters rather than our away support. :D

Yes but he's not throwing silly money at the club. He's basically putting in 1 Million pounds a year, half of which goes in interest payments on our massive debt, thereby keeping us afloat, and the other half a mill goes to the playing budget.

A massive investment by Brentford standards, but not silly money compared to those few billionaires bankrolling clubs.

We did have a millionaire (Noades) who spent silly money, unfortunately for us he was using our credit card, though we didn't know it at the time.

Fair play to you, you seem like a geniune fan and it would be great to play Rangers again a proper derby unlike some of the ones we have now but it looks like for that to happen unless drawn in the cup we will have to get promoted.:sorted:
