Been there to see The Bees a couple of times - late 50's or early 60's.

Cannot remember much about the ground except it was better than Newport County - although we lost 6-1 at Newport which may have influenced my thoughts!!!

Quite. It's long been an irritation of mine that Bradford City appear to have become "Bradford" over the years. If anything, it is Park Avenue who are traditionally known as "Bradford". I think the "Park Avenue" was in brackets? If ever I see a somebody post online claiming to support "Bradford", I always ask if they support City or Park Avenue, partly to clarify, but mainly to be awkward. If you lived in Crawley, you wouldn't just say you support "Manchester" would you?
There are a number of people in Crawley who support Manchester.

Yes. They have a selection of pale blue or red jerseys. And select according to who's higher in the league at any given time. Some even have a Liverpool one. Just for emergencies.

Utd/City half and half scarves and hats especially made on demand in the back streets of Bewbush.
"Keeps you warm in winter" was what the old crone said to me outside Primark one morning.
Couldn't get away quick enough.

Don't their fans still chant "Bournemouth", "Boscombe"?
I had to go into the Bournemouth end a few seasons ago, as the Bees end was full and there were a few old boys that would shout Boscombe over any bournemouth song. I guess it goes on every game, which I reckon would get a bit boring after a few decades. Funny to watch!

Won't be long before they die out. Shame.
