Don't worry after 65 years watching Brentford, over confidence is something I don't suffer fromTake your point just feels very uncomfortable. Don't want to jinx anything.
Get where you’re coming from but the realistic Brentford innit thread would be about which players would definitely get poached when we failed to go up and who in L1 or 2 and our B Team would step up to give us another shot at heartache next season. For once I’m happy to leave that sort of thinking until it becomes a sad reality if at all.Take your point just feels very uncomfortable. Don't want to jinx anything.

Chief confirms Brentford will 'look at' player in summer - Admits 'all players' at other club are also an option - Sport Witness
Brentford Football Club narrowly missed out on finishing in the top two of the Championship last season and as a result, they didn’t seal a direct berth to the Premier League. The Bees reached the play-off final, but lost to Fulham and in the process, failed to return to the top flight. Thomas...sportwitness.co.uk

In my Brentford side of all time Grainger.Martin Grainger? Stuart Pearce?
No spare LB....
No attacking fortifications....
Thompson and Halil loaned out
Hmmmmm
what’s the rules on recall ? Changes all the time so I’ve lost track
CheersYou cannot recall players outside the window and play them.![]()
Any free agent left backs available.
Let me guess, Eddie Hutchinson > Mathias Jensen...?In my Brentford side of all time Grainger.
Ijah Anderson. We could subtly change the spelling and he'd fit right in.Any free agent left backs available.

ahead of Rico Henry?![]()
Different style of player. He did win a Championship play off final and get to play in the PL which Rico hasn’t yet. One of the best of the pre-Benham modern era, certainly much better than Ijah. He's was my favourite left back, no he wasnt better than Rico.
Yep. Not frightened to get in theJudge !!!![]()

With the amount of injuries piling up are there any free agents around worth picking up? I did notice Daniel Sturrridge but before anybody bites my head off I know he would be expensive and most likely fail the no dickhead tests but a proven experienced goal scorer that could be worth a short term punt. I also saw there was a former Chelsea champions league midfield player available that we might have heard of....perhaps not! Josh Clarke again? If fit could give us a backup left and right back and wing, not the greatest but served us well for a long time.
His entire first team career at Brondby was while TF managed them! This guy? Patrick da Silva (Danish footballer) - Wikipedia
Can't say I know much about him but he's a Danish free agent left back known to TF.
..............spot on................Matty as back up...................We had the hole of January to sort this out .Most people knew that we had to get backup in .You don’t take a gamble and think we will not get any injuries between now and the end of the season
Judge before he's broken leg was a class act, another that gets in my favourite 11.
yes he was but not at the level of players in midfield we have had since imo
I would prefer us to treat this as a Cup match. I think we would have a far better chance of winning with that mentality and use our B teamersWe are always saying on here you can't block the pathways for B teamers with loan players well we now have a situation
where B teamers could come to the fore due to injuries, but how many are at the level to step in?
By the looks of it he would fail the ND test, and as he has not played for a club since last season even if he could crack a new country and the Championship it would take him weeks to get fit. Good idea though. Now Norgaards back I am sure that Janelt would do well at left back, or even a job in goal! This guy? Patrick da Silva (Danish footballer) - Wikipedia

The Swans don’t rate Hourihane now. That’s £4m well spent!! Any takers?!

Wouldn't get too concerned about WR. IF and it's a BIG if we get promoted, we're gonna need a lot of new players. Our current squad would get hammered in the PL.I think we would look towards a younger player with more pace for the PL.
Would it - beat 4 PL teams in Carabao Cup and gave Spurs a good game at their place in the semi final. Not saying we would be perfectly fine as it stands but I think we would do better than getting hammered - probably 4 or 5 new players would be required.Wouldn't get too concerned about WR.
