👍 just my son and occasionally my daughter get sent emails to my address which is held in f&f account. Think the recent migration may have cleansed some previous errors.

I got my son membership a couple of weeks back and gave my email address. I’ve received the ST email and the member one separately and with the right names in the salutations.

Oh ok I have communicated with the club several times about my son not having an email and they have assured me it’s all ok?

So I'm one of those affected by the Dugout "redzone" i.e. my seat & my sons aren't going to be available until restrictions are lifted.

I got an e-mail explaining this and have been in regular conversation with a couple of members of the ticket office over the past week (which they initiated). I turned down the initial offer of temporary seats as unacceptable. Consequently we were briefly got upgraded to the premier "Legends" lounge but an amendment from the Premier League to the depth of the redzone free'd up a couple of decent seats back in the Dugout which I've accepted. However as my new cards will be temporary I need to go and pick them up (along with our welcome packs) from the ticket office on Tuesday. The ticket office guys have been great, very communicative & friendly throughout.

I'll pop down on the Vespa mid afternoon. I can scoot round the Lionel road barriers :judge: . Currently nothing is dampening my enthusiasm for the season in prospect...

Great email. Puts the mind at rest knowing there will be a print at home option.

I understand there are 24 people in such a position, hopefully everyone has had a positive outcome.

Can you pick up the other 10,999 whilst you're there and deliver them on the Vespa? Ta.

Same happened to me. Agree with your comments about the staff, very pleasant if somewhat overworked. Had been looking forward to the upgrade but not to be. I suspect with all the empty spaces in front of me I will end up a tv sensation. Better get my haircut!

The important thing here to note is that the club did everything to ensure no one would be out of pocket or materially disadvantaged

It was either move somewhere else in the Dugout if possible, otherwise upgrade to lounge. Last resort or if desired was to move elsewhere in the stadium with pro-rata refund.

Nick, most GPGs have never been to Basildon. They think its a spelling error and you have been living the high life in Nevada!
Or mistyped Cas Vegas and the bright lights of Castleford.

Sounds like you're in the same row as us ~ directly above the dugout area but several rows back.

Re the TV opportunity I'm thinking of a placard "Why no onions?" or "Where's Winnie" just to confuse the nation.

Because being concerned that one hadn’t received anything in return for handing over a significant amount of money 16 months ago, with less than a week to go befor the first League fixture, and set against the context that Brentford is currently woefully mismanaged when it comes to the customer-facing side of the business (ticket website, ticketing office, club shop etc) was just so unreasonable. 🙄

Sorry but the customer service Brentford supplied to a supporter who sits with us has been truly magnificent.

Thats great to hear, and I’m pleased for the supporter involved.

That doesn’t take away from the experiences of a large number of fans over the last few months, as evidenced by the number of complaints here, and across other social media platforms (where the complaints are sadly a lot more vitriolic).
