Sounds like a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
Open to ideas, but as soon as you start sharing IPs with others, you are relying on them not being tagged as spam. Anyway...

Excellent, if you can pick me up from Fishbourne tomorrow morning at 9:30 that will be great 👌
No petrol, unfortunately. Waiting for coffee...

Many thanks for all the donations, much appreciated. Likewise the very kind comments that accompany a lot of them.
This site has been a godsend during the pandemic and I cannot thank Banana and the team enough for all their hard work in keeping it running. Do you know if you have enough pledges yet to cover the running costs , for say the next 12 months? If not I am sure some of us can tickle a bit more out of our wallets.

Done ... and wish I could do more but time rich / cash (relatively) poor. This really is the best fan forum I have seen - and I browse them continually.

BTW. I used a Debit Card because I am hoping this has the least charges but shame there is no Standing Order option.

Tried to donate but it kept asking me for valid card details even after I'd entered them. I'll wait to see whether the three attempts have all gone through. But you deserve the support. Joking and grumbling apart, you do a great job that shouldn't be underestimated.

If the card didn't work with one option (say Paypal), then feel free to try the other option!

That happened to me, when I tried to do it on my phone.
Worked fine on my lap top.

Was doing the same here says ”please enter card details” but they appear to be entered.

Just noticed there is a box to the right beyond the cvs that you have to put your postcode in. It wasn’t showing until I entered the card details from scratch.

Can you "do a Derby" and buy the GPG from yourself? 😋

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that has contributed. I never really expected well over 100 of you to put your hands in your pocket. And the comments alongside your donations you have left are very nice. So thank you again.

I should have done this years ago - I might own a PL club by now if I had 😇

Myself and the admin team are all privy to the numbers, we now have a healthy account, maybe we will use it to bribe Cliff Crown for an interview

On the desktop version, that new tab in fake Bees colours is jolly distracting. Is that to make the GPG look full on a rainy Tuesday in February? I'd buy you a coffee or two to have that converted to GPG Standard palette.

I kinda agree; it is a little "eye-catching". This will obviously cost a few thousand pounds though. Let me get back to you shortly.

Now that we are all share holders in GPG Pty Ltd do we have voting rights on who the Moderators are?

I would like to put a motion forward to the other investors that Nocoat is sacked or at least suspended from duties until he removes Steve Cooper from his avatar!!!

NOCOAT OUT!

NB if in fact it is not Steve Cooper but his grandfather or some other family member - sorry! Lol

Yes it was indeed our favourite rival manager play off avatar special. I’m kind of attached to him now 💕

Downpayment of a coffee. I'll cough up the rest when it's aligned to next season's away colours.

Have just reread the first paragraph. Didn’t you also organise a Lockdown call with AndyScott? Was absolutely riveting and surprised he didn’t get the sack from the Swans for showing such continued loyalty to our cause.

Done, small - but happy to help.

Did you answer whether what the extra money will go towards if you achieve more than what is needed? What else could this site do that it doesn't already? Sell it to us dragons den style.

As for "more cash than needed", well of course I will buy a paddle boat and hang around in Benham I's wake. More seriously, it will used for such things as i) more capacity on the GPG ii) more features on the GPG iii) more resilience for the GPG iv) other projects that fans would like; and if I can't think of anything, or am swimming in cash then we'll probably donate to other supporter groups (if they need it), or BFCCST or something equally as worthy.

There's also usage costs, a concrete example is emails - which cost a fortune to send - and I have to fork out for each one that is sent which, given our recent promotion, may lead to even higher levels of expenditure. So I'd like to anticipate these extra costs and defray them as far as possible.
Probably answered here.

Apologies for not doing sooner. It’s about time.

the one question I have is

will the cost of the mods Xmas party becoming out of these funds and if so will the plane tickets be included for everyone who needs to fly in be included ? :pop:

Done as well, not been here as much as I would have liked to have been in recent years but appreciate what you’ve done for the regulars here. Long live GPG !
